Is this a self moderated thread?

Why did you delete 10 of my posts in your satoshidice threads suddenly? Did you move to censorship?

No, it's not self moderated. I think you are referring to an old thread that is being updated or deleted/replaced.

Looks like a nice site to me, especially because I love dice games. Considering the fact that the minimum amount that can be invested can be as low as 0.001 BTC you guys might attract a lot of investors who don't want to risk big amounts. Are you going to launch a Sig campaign to bring players to your site? Because right now, as I can see, there are not much players online there.

There was an error causing password recovery and password changes never show proper message once successfully executed. This has been fixed now. Sorry about the inconvenience this caused!

Signature campaign is not the only way to bring players, there are many other ways such as giveaway, contests, etc and I think those are better than sign campaign. Of course it is their own decision on which way they will use to advertise the site.

I refer to your invest in bankroll thread: Satoshi Dice - Play Instant Bitcoin Dice & Invest in the Bankroll

And no, the thread is not being updated or deleted/replaced. Just my 10 posts were deleted and you can still see my posts which were quoted from others. Very unprofessional!

Is this the same company that originally bought Satoshi Dice off Erik Vorhees?

I want to invest but scared nothing has been fixed since Satoshi Dice?

Many things have been fixed or added.

  • 2FA protect your account
  • Email confirmation required for withdrawals, protecting your account from unauthorised withdrawals.
  • 26 New High Quality Games added
  • Live support
  • Overall faster and more stable experience.

- 2FA always good addition for those who want to activate and use it

- instead of email confirmation of every withdrawal I would rather like to see something like master address added to may account,
Master Address might the address which was used to deposit BTC before or verified brand new address,
then email confirmation would be used only in case we would like to change that master address.

- about faster and more stable experience - is it only me or site is loading slow and repressiveness is, well, not that crisp I would like it to be.
I will test it later on different system to see if that is my machine working slow.

I just discovered this thread after I tried searching for the old Satoshdice thread, found it closed, and it linked into here.

The new site seems very promising however I think it was very bad to rebrand to this name. Satoshidice had a bitcoin history, and not very smart to change its name.

But good luck to you and to the best of your new site.

Why did satoshidice rebrand?
Does my old account still work?
What happened to my bitcoin stored on satoshidice?

Edit:
Seems I can log in on my old account. I used the wrong credentials at first, but it seems the whole account is now at the new site and works as expected.

glad to see Satoshidice is back in the business, wonder if it was really neccessary to rebrand
after all it was one of the oldest dice games (if not the oldest) in bitcoin history
when I re-registered ,as I could not find my old credentials, and tried to play some dice
I realised that there is no autobet option available, correct me if I'm wrong but I could not find it
no successful dice site can survive without autobet, imho

I think one of the main reasons why it rebranded was because for the last year or so there was alot of FUD created with Satoshidice due to all the network issues they were having. Most of the older gamblers moved on to other sites like PD, and most of the newer gamblers were upset and boycotted the brand completely.

So I guess they want to start off fresh with a new website and everything. Hopefully this site won't have the same issues as the last one however.

Was SatoshiDice sold to MegaDice or it's the same owner yet?

We have disabled the faucet because it's being accessed by too many IPs. It will remain disabled until further notice.

It is  weird to see satoshidice as a new brand. I mean it was the oldest dice website in the world and now its gone. Not that its bad for you guys since you are rebranding and all but at least you could have used the old name.

Now there is this whole PR and marketing that goes to toilet. SEO wise it was not a great decision neither. I think it should have stayed with the name.

Re-branding is not a bad thing but a better idea to give a new name to their company and if they will in a position to do a good marketing for their company on different places like crypto-games, secondstrade and some other casino is doing their best then everyone will know their name and will keep their name in mind. they have to establish their name in this forum.
