There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

The newbie forum has some good threads but I guess it's true that I won't be here very often once I graduate in an hour or so.

Wow, I'm such a n00b. I have my machine mining away and of course I decide to close my browser window. This forums rule really encourages pointless posts such as this and probably extra load on the server since boob n00bs are staying logged in. I sure hope their advertisers don't have an issue with this plan as I quite like this forum (short of the stupid rule I'm spazzing about).

I have been using this forum for a week now and I just realized, I forgot to register  Smiley
This is why this restriction sucks. New visitors should be somehow informed that it's better to register.
See you on the other side Smiley
This is good attitude  Grin

I just wish that instead of only reading this past week I'd actually had the brains to sign up first...didn't know of these newbie restrictions from reading in the main forum area :/

LOL..  Me too.  I've spend way more than 4 hours reading on here... I just hadn't created the account yet.
