Planned or impulsive gambling?

I prefer planned gambling. Being impulsive tends to catch me off guard i.e. unprepared to face the sudden wins or losses, unsure how much to bet and what my "waste cash" is at the moment.
I have played with friends a lot and walking into a casino drunk for "a quick one" always ended bad. I expect it might be similar with online gambling.

As long as you know how to handle money you will not end up losing all or being disappointed in result because you are incharge of playing gambling .I believe some saying "Charge to Experience" it means for me that every mistakes is a experience and its up to you if you will continue or change your ways .
For me i also want planned gambling which i have time to manage that particular day in gambling ,no hassle no any appointments as a free day .Impulsive gambling depends on you as i said above.

You behavior towards gambling will dictate your destiny, it's not good to be impulsive as that will only make you lose more money in a short period of time. Most of the times you gamble, you will lose.

The point is that if you lose, don't get too depressed.

If you win, don't get too high.

Think of gambling as entertainment instead of a way to earn money consistently. If you want to earn money, then go do more work and work more hours instead of spending hours on gambling chat trying to make a buck or two.

I know that gambling sounds like the easy way, but the easy way is the way you're going to fuck up.

I do play only if I'm in the mood but I only do it once a day or several times a week, playing when I'm in the mood
helps me focus more and avoid a certain decision that I will usually do when I'm not in the mood or a little stressed because
of the money that I lost.

But weekend is more fun when we can play stress free without any pressure. So what style of gambling you like go aggressive and play only to enjoy the casino for long time. I mostly try to keep me in limit of my bankroll only with some extra money.

Make sense to me especially when you want to feel like you own the Casino LOL.  Weekends always lots of people since it is their free moment since no work the next day.   I would love to play at weekdays too since I do not come to Casino to socialize instead just to have fun and play.  And if lucky win and book a profit.

I just gamble whenever I want to and there's no time that I'm going to schedule if I want to gamble.

Mood is a big factor when I gamble, if I'm in the right mood or good mood I will going to gamble but if I feel bad, then I won't.

when you're staying without getting addicted, it will be possible to gamble impulsively.

In initial days gamblers go for gambling only when they are having good mood but over time they are going for gambling to get that good mood. I mean to say they are finding their  refreshment from gambling then they come to a conclusion about gambling like it's the only soothing refreshment for the all types of moods.

No doubts, that conclusion alone will be enough to make a gambler addicted. Till that conclusion, gambler can go as per their wish either planned or impulsive.

Do you think the planned gamblers are addictive ?
I do not think so because after addiction gamblers will not mind about their other responsibilities and they will push their other schedules just for the intention of going for gambling.

Being planned gamblers must be the right way of doing gambling in my opinion because by planning you can be in control with your gambling activities, yes without getting addictions.

Planning for gambling is the right way of gambling, I agree but only till you plan for other things too.
If you are planning only for gambling and if your start neglecting your other responsibilities then there will be no meaning of planning for gambling.

That will slowly make you to move towards impulsive mode of gambling. In my opinion impulsive gambling must be very dangerous, we should avoid that at any cost.

Both have actually worked for me though as sometimes I just decide within me that this weekend, I am going to try it out and sometimes I just stumble on a thread which link to a gambling site and from there I decide to try it out on spot either way, I have lost some, I have equally won some since whether planning or by impulse will neither increase the chances of winning or reduce the chances of winning in my opinion.

I am getting a little better and hitting the breaks sooner when I start losing but it still isnt anywhere close to optimum.

I`m always in the mood for some gambling game, only problem is that I don`t have always enough money to play as I wish to play. I play poker everyday couple times, depends of the free time I can find, other games like dices, slots, roulette.. are the games that I like to play with a bit higher bankroll, and if I`m in some winning streak I can play for longer, sometimes I lose deposited and I rest couple days with this games. Its not the case with poker, I play cash games and there is always some minimum buy in table where I can play without big attention.

Worst is if you lose more often and will result to borrowing money from a certain lender and usually when you are in need of money due to gambling you will automatically grab the opportunity without considering the high interest that you will have to pay.

The thing is, gambling does not guarantee you a win and there is a big chance that you will not be able to repay your loans which wold result to a possible legal actions from the lender which would give you additional problem. Control yourself and everything will be fine, losing happens a lot in gambling and therefore you have to accept that you do not have the capacity to change that.

The premise was always the same, if we initially won some money - we stopped the session there.
But in case of initial failure we were stupid to the point of playing with our emergency money - usually losing it all in the process.

Good advice: if you lost your initial roll/bet just accept your defeat and move on.

For me personally, I'm try to gamble only when there are massive promo but I'm only played when the site is trusted and easy gameplay from my perspective.

nice advice , it is really hard not to give another shot in playing, its like hoping and making ourselves think that this time (when we give another try) we will win. So whether its planned or not same things happen whenever were not winning. We still find ways to give it a try even we plan not to do such.

Only whenever I need and I feel to gamble, I will go for it. I'm not seeing any dangers in this is, I believe I will not look for going gambling more often.

So far, with this I am not finding any wrong with my impulsive gambling habits. My entertainment should be available for me when I need and it should not be like my routine job.

Impulsive gambling is fun sometimes, but only in real life with friends at a casino, of course this can only be done a couple of times a year and not wasting more money than you can afford to lose, otherwise you are an idiot.

Planned gambling is boring and works under the delusional premise that gambling is anything more than fun and testing your luck.
