Sometimes I'm investing to dogecoin for very short term, for 2-3 days and then selling it, because I don't think it is long term investment. There is a lot of good long term investment like neo, so I don't think doge for this.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

This year is year of Dog , so dogecoin will sky rocket, also this coin is not so simple it survived for 8 years and many coins died, and dogecoin have very small fees, so ye have future.

For me, doge is still a good choice for long term investment because the price of doge is low at this time but it will return stronger and get more investors.  |

Dogecoin has been my favorite alt coin for quite a long time. It serves as a good cryptocurrency for tipping others, as well as being a fun and inexpensive medium of exchange. However, I'm worried what might happen to Dogecoin in the future, since it has been quite some time that no new version of the QT wallet has been mentioned, neither some innovation to keep it going for the long term. It would become ideal for Dogecoin to add SegWit to its code, and gain traction if it gains acceptance from the miners. Then, if it manages to become the first cryptocurrency to accept the scalable solution, it could rise in popularity once more (not to mention that transaction will be near instantaneous). Nevertheless, Dogecoin is a great cryptocurrency being inexpensive and relatively stable, making it a great way to tip others or send micropayments faster than BTC at a fraction of the cost. Looking forward to your opinion. Nope the developer said the codes and software has not been updated for many years and it was created to be a troll coin so tipping people using that may be the only use case but becoming a good coin with lots of use case and solve problems probably not going to happen |

I believe that dogecoin has a good chance of a future. This coin can be used in places where its main advantages are valued such as fast transactions and small transfer fees. For example, perhaps crypto exchanges will use this coin. Yes. DOGE is still not dead yet, and it is used among many crypto enthusiasts and everyday people alike. It's so cheap and easy to use, that anyone who likes to get started with cryptocurrencies would quickly adopt the popular meme cryptocurrency. Of course, Dogecoin was not meant to be used as a serious cryptocurrency but only as a mere joke. However, that has changed as Bitcoin and most altcoins have risen in value and traction in the mainstream world. As more people use Dogecoin, it will remain alive and useful in crypto land. While it lacks development and innovation, it still a tried and tested cryptocurrency with a large mining hashpower and nodes backing it. Only time will tell us whenever Dogecoin will stop being used in crypto land and become abandoned. Nevertheless, things seem bright for Dogecoin as it has the potential to become something big in the future. Just my thoughts  now may be this project not die, but future I do not see him. Any new developments the team doesn't carry out especially and why it was created I don't understand. instead of buying it, I'd rather invest in some ICO. But IMO Dogecoin is just about the least likely coin to fully die, keeping in mind the fact that it already survived the lengthy crypto-winter of 2014-2015 and the fact that it has such a passionate set of followers, and good connections with other currencies. Especially it seems to me a lot of OG investors in Ethereum got into cryptocurrency with Doge. So we owe Dogecoin some thanks. |

Just want to ask, why so? I wasn't attracted by dogecoin so far. I didn't see vital features in it and it's a simple bitcoin clone as you guys know this. Then I wouldn't spend my money on such speculative asset.

Like what other said before Dogecoin have a bright future because the price are too low with a great Developer day by day doge became popular in cryptoworld why? Because the transaction fee are too small compare to bitcoin so no doubt it will have a future even the supply are too high.

For me the dogecoin to prove to future but the doge community is still overwhelming and transactions prices are cheap with fast transfer. So many people use doges to transfer btc and other currencies indirectly.

Dogecoin has no value but i like it when using it to transfer funds from one exchanges to another because the transaction fees are lesser.

I have never owned a single Dogecoin, but I cannot see why it will fail all of a sudden. It has a strong network effect among other things going for it. To the moon! P.S. The only failure will be Jackson Palmer - the creator of Dogecoin and his half-assed comments - aimed against Dogecoin and cryptos in general. Talking about a douchebag! |

Dogecoin in my opinion is the most underated of all the top coins. Its a real good coin that can be gotten cheaply and with a few good announcements from the team I see it growing again rapidly in acceptance.
The current bearish market nature has presented a great opportunity to buy it very cheaply and watch the value rise.

As for my opinion Dogecoin has a future. It's quick, with low comission and appropriate for dailytrading. Also that coin is on the market for a long time and that's mean lot of people believe in it.

Yes. Many people still use DOGE even if it's not widely developed in crypto land. The ability to use it as a cheap and fast payments system, will keep it going for many years to come. Most people don't even care about a cryptocurrency's development and innovation, but rather its usability in the mainstream world. Therefore, if they see the benefits that Dogecoin provides, they'll keep using it for their daily transactions. What once started as a joke, now has gathered a lot of attention from outside investors and traders, making Dogecoin's future a very bright one. I just hope that it will remain as fast and inexpensive as it is right now, so that DOGE would continue to be used in the mainstream world and retain its rightful place in the market. Just my opinion  |
