Will Dogecoin have a future?

Dogecoin's community is huge, and many people are optimistic about it, which is its advantage. Unfortunately, their technical team has stopped updating Dogecoin code, and perhaps the end of the token is 0.

Are you kidding?! Jesus Coin  was created as a joke and it carries an idea in itself no more than pump and dump scheme and creative scam.

The coin might be created as a joke,but one thing you have to understand is that doge coin does have faster confirmation and the transaction charges are pretty low,you can call it free transaction and more over you can gamble with it as some of the gambling sites do accept dogecoin,so do not just say it is all a joke.

No one can tell for sure what is the future of a particular cryptocurrency.Dogecoin has the second strongest community after Bitcoin based on Reddit subscriber count, Facebook Likes, Twitter followers.Dogecoin also has one of the most active developer team with many contributors and code updates. That being said, Dogecoin is the first coin that really innovated based on their marketing initiatives and is very active in organising marketing and charity drives. The price might be low at this point but given solid fundamentals, it has a very bright future.

You have to keep in mind the fact that dogecoin was mooning like crazy back when this crypto world practically didn't exist. The subreddit even sponsored a NASCAR car. People were memeing and having fun. Although the moon phase ended a long time ago, but I think due to the doge memes and the overall positiveness of the community makes people think good things when they think of dogecoin. Now that the crypto world has become a real thing, dogecoin may make a comeback.

I think it's hard to predict what will happen with Dogecoin. We should remember that this currency has not been created for any serious purpose.

Dogecoin is very loved in Asia. I think they may have a good future. I did not use, but heard enough about this coin. It is strange that about Dogecoin is no news. Incidentally. On 16 February, the developers will answer questions. It's from their official Twitter account "There will be a Dogecoin developer Q&A on the 16th Feb! We're finalising details, but expect early evening GMT, probably Max & Ross sharing this account. Watch this space. Or that space. That space is also cool."

Glad to know about Dogecoin's recent activity in the development team. Hopefully, we might be able to see new and exciting things to come up for DOGE if they take the time to listen to the community's suggestions. Given that Dogecoin had experienced a new all-time high last year, it would be hard to ignore among the crypto market.

Things aside, Dogecoin looks like it has a very bright future ahead of it, as more people who're new into cryptocurrencies, make use of it due to the benefits it provides over other cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. The beauty of Dogecoin is its extremely fast speeds, cheap transactions, and inexpensive value. It's what makes it the perfect cryptocurrency for micropayments, which I believe that it will remain in crypto land for years to come. What was first started as a joke, now it is turning to become a serious cryptocurrency among the eyes of everyday people.

Only time will tell what will happen with Dogecoin's long term sustainability and mainstream acceptance. As long as there are people supporting it, nothing should go wrong. Just my opinion

i always save any doge till now, this crypto always normally market, and crypto old like ethereum and litecoin, i think this coin will be up, maybe 4-5 years later, so good for long term

It is real good to see that there seems to be a renewed activity in the development of dogecoin. Doge still has a big fan base and has some good features  as you have mentioned. Looking forward to the Q&A session on 16/02, could be interesting  .

Doge coin is a very good coin, it is one of my best coin, it is quite inexpensive and relatively stable, it is faster when sending micro payments. But in my opinion if this coin is to become very popular, the dev have to come up with innovations otherwise it price would go crashing down. Presently I will just focus on buying more of this coin.

I think that Dogecoin has an advantage - small commissions, price and fast enough transfers, has long existed on the market. In the future growth is possible, but I do not think x10.

Agree. I'm using DogeCoin for transactions and keeping some coins for a long term. Doge became very popular because of it's fast and cheap service. Not only because of joke. This coin is going to have big future, I believe.

Dogecoin remains a valid crypto if Bitcoin and Ethereum tx fees remain so high.

If the doge community manages to continuously produce interesting and funny content, the crypto might maintain the hype and slowly rise in value.

I think prospects of Dogecoin are extremely sad. In the near future, the value of the Dogecoin  maybe a little will increase along with other altcoins but who knows?.

Yes I agreed and I believed that Dogecoin has a good future, having a big community in different nations by this altcoin is a sign that it has a better future. Moreover this is one of the pioneering coin in crypto world. Which means it is more likely trusted alts compare to amny alts here.
