Precisely what I've been doing for the last year, and it's payed off well for me. It's important to understand that the moment price goes down there will be some FUD of some sort, you just need to watch price and read news every now and then. I bought when people said price would plummet to sub 100 in 2015 and now it's at nearly 1200.

It's normal that the price goes up and down as it is moving within a certain range. I wouldn't be surprised if the price goes down further than we have seen today. Resistance above the $1200 level is too strong too break through. Indeed it is easy for whales to manipulate the market.  If they want to pull the price of Bitcoin they can do it easily.  They have the fund and the number of Bitcoins to dump whenever they wanted to.  Just for example, these whales wanted to shake the market of weak hands, and they saw some negative press.  They will exaggerate it to the point it creates FUD and start dumping their stash of BTC to support their claim about people losing interest because of this FUD.  Mostly people that have little faith in Bitcoin is shaken and sell their holdings. And series of sell off happen resulting to a massive dump.  The only people who are happy are these whales who have their buy order to catch cheaper Bitcoins.

yes that is very right, as we can see that the price of bitcoin is trading very smoothly and is remain very stable, i think there is no such issue which can cause the price of bitcoin to drop, i am hopeful that the price of bitcoin will continue increase and hope that very soon the price of bitcoin is going to cross 1500 use level.
