Waterloo, ON Bitcoiner here (now that this thread is about Canada in general ). Our community is doing pretty well for itself on the Bitcoin front; already on http://coinmap.org, there are 8 venues accepting Bitcoin in KW (I have yet to go to any personally though). How are other communities (large or small) doing?

Recently, the Bank of Canada has stepped up its anti-Bitcoin crusade. The Harper government has shown indifference at best and sometimes even outright hostility towards Bitcoin. Please keep that in mind next time you enter the polls.
