As Coin Cloud Moves To Spread Bitcoin ATMs Across The United States. Considering the emerging opportunities in the US for Bitcoin as an alternative financial option, as proven by the activities of already installed BTMs, Coin Cloud plans to continue its rapid expansion nationwide.

With over 15 Bitaccess BTM kiosks, Coin Cloud claims to be the largest Bitcoin ATM (BTM) operator on the west coast.

I think until now bitcoin ATM is still be best way to allow newcomers to acquire small amount of bitcoin, although the rate is a bit expensive.

Besides, it can also serve as an advertisement in the public places.

Bitcoin ATMs are no new thing anymore and I think many Bitcoin users are familiar with them and are frequently using it. In my country there are few of them placed in biger cities and are well accepted. So far I haven't heard that people had bad experiences so, yes, I would use them although I prefer some other ways to get Bitcoins.

i do not think that we need for any bitcoin atm, we can use our online wallet any time and anywhere, i think when the number of bitcoin uses will increase then the idea of bitcoin ATM may work a little but stil i do not think that a lot of people will appreciate this idea.

Yeah, I agree 100% on both points.

I have only used two machines (one was years ago in NYC, the other in Vancouver) that did not require ID and/or cell numbers.  I too would like to have some anonymity left in this brave new world of total tracking.

I can live with the 13.5% and 14% fees (from the two machines closest to me), but I don't have to like it.

For a lower fee (7.5%) I have bought at https://buy.bitcoin.com/.  But, that's not anonymous either.

For a while I was a customer of Circle, their fee was pretty low (1% - 2% IIRC), but then they apparently abandoned that segment of their business.

to me i personally never use bitcoin ATM, as in my country we do not have such facilities. but i think the online bitcoin wallet is some thing more than bitcoin ATM as we can use our online wallet anywhere.

Only if requires very little fees like other exchange sites. If however it allows us to remain anonymous while buying, maybe it would be a little more preferred. Never seen any BTC BTM in my life though.

Maybe but I think I'd rather do it online. Less hassle and less transaction fees. But if the fees are low and the atm can be reach easily that you dont have to travel long to access it maybe I would love to use it. As of now I don't see one of it in my country.

Being a business organization meant for profit, I am sure Coin Cloud fees will be at a very higher side. means, you will have to pay an exorbitant fees if you want to withdraw any amount of bitcoin from their ATM. I have tried to search their website for the fees, but surprisingly could not find anything. If anyone knows, please let us know as well.

I personally would not prefer bitcoin ATM for the fees only. Because we have options to cash out out bitcoins in a easy way using localbitcoin service and also fees are quite less than the market rate. Unless and until, I have an emergency, I would not prefer bitcoin ATM.

That would certainly be something that would greatly simplify things. The procedures and high fees to withdraw money through exchanges make things more complicated, especially for less experienced users.

I have used one which is in my area a while ago just to see the process, it really was straight forward and quick.
The only downside was the fee which was about 10%, I agree it is the easiest way for newcomers to enter into bitcoin to see how it works.

I would gladly use it especially when I want to buy up more coins with fiat. I'm told the one in my country only sells BTC to your wallet but doesn't withdraw fiat like conventional ATM machines so I will suggest improvements in the ones coin cloud is installing to have a feature to cash out fiat.

Hmm... that's not a disadvantage that I'd be willing to go through just for the luxury of being able to buy bitcoins with an ATM.

How does bitcoin ATM actually works? It must not be similar to fiat atm where you swipe ATM card, enter amount and get currency.I am intrigued about its working as bitcoin is not physical currency so what do you get when you use bitcoin ATM?

I would definitely agree to this one. Though i have a bank atm account, I still prefer to have alternative way to receive money just like this. This way it can save me transfering from wallet to bank since it is direct.

BIG WINNER!

Unfortunately in my city there are no bitcoin ATM, so I don't  know how is the feeling of able to withdraw money from that ATM, I will like to try to withdraw money from bitcoin ATM to know how it's feel, but after that maybe I won't withdraw anymore because I heard the fee is so high, if the fee is too high then I will prefer to find other way to withdraw my money

Looks like us is a lucky place where bitcoin ATM spreading but here in my country you can only see 1 bitcoin ATM which is too far in my area..
Hope that they can increase more ATM available  so that we can use the withdraw deposit instantly without going to banks..
Sometimes here its hard to withdraw or exchange your bitcoin into money hopefully that they can spread ATM also here..

Solving blocks can't be solved without my rigs.
