when i was young"yes that was several decades ago" and when i saw for the first time GmBH - i honestly thought it meant in a misspelled way  GUMBALL"  and as a young person i could not for the life of me understand why that company did not offer free gumballs!
i think its awesome that your registered and fully on the straight and narrow! it does just go to prove that this is "EXACTLY" as i thought
FULLY LEGIT
GOOD JOB AND KEEP UP THE HARD WORK!!!

How is it possible to add new station?
What's the incentive for the owner of a web radio to use your platform to stream?

However, when i click on "request station" it gives me Error 404.
Would you fix it? ((:

(i don't know if my english is good enough to let you understand what i want to say!)

Hello
Has anyone got the wallet run on Ubuntu 16.04?
It gives me a lot of errors and warnings and in the end it does not compile.
Thank you.

i got it to compile perfectly using the prerequisites posted earlier by AmoreJaz

Code:
sudo apt-get install build-essential libtool automake autotools-dev autoconf pkg-config libssl-dev libgmp3-dev libevent-dev bsdmainutils libboost-all-dev libminiupnpc-dev libqt5gui5 libqt5core5a libqt5dbus5 qttools5-dev qttools5-dev-tools libprotobuf-dev protobuf-compiler libqrencode-dev

ubuntu 16.04

Good luck! Smiley

Thank you very much but I have tried it and it still gives me errors and warnings. Could it be that I have errors because I'm trying to compile it on an ubuntu server instead of the desktop version?
The truth is that I am little newbie in linux, but I need to get it to run on linux.

Ubuntu server or desktop will make no difference in the compile but what will give you issues are a few things if you would like i could help you thru it?
send me a copy of the last screen and the errors it give during compile and let me sort things out if i can? even pm would be ok but up to you ok?

At last I managed to compile the wallet in Ubuntu, but running in version 14.04 instead of 16.02.
I have done all the steps of bitradio github and it has not given me a single error when compiling.
Thank you, the intention to help is what counts.

To install a QT-Wallet under Linux, open a Terminal and use the following commands. You’ll need to find the Git of the coin.

apt-get update -y

apt-get upgrade -y

apt-get dist-upgrade -y

apt-get install build-essential libssl-dev libboost-all-dev libdb5.1 libdb5.1-dev libdb5.1++-dev libtool

apt-get install git ntp make g++ gcc autoconf cpp ngrep iftop sysstat autotools-dev pkg-config

sudo apt-get install libqt5gui5 libqt5core5a libqt5dbus5 qttools5-dev qttools5-dev-tools libprotobuf-dev protobuf-compiler libqrencode-dev

git clone https://github.com/*Git of the coin*

cd *folder name, ex: "cd bitcoin"*

./autogen.sh

./configure

make

make install

This project will become massive if it is conducted properly.

Will be keeping a close eye on this one.

And you can bet fennyler;ererg-wolf77 knows what he is talking about. This is the guy that found out before anybody else that both Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un are interested in Iconomi!!! He's got all the best facts! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1789926.msg18582059#msg18582059

all i can do is offer my help but if it is not received i cannot help further. ; each and every operating system is slightly different and that is one of the reasons why many different wallets will give issues to compile.
glad you got it working

I do not know if I can help you, I did not compile the wallet-qt I just compiled the Bitradiod server mode.
I followed all the steps of the github of bitradio and downloaded and installed one by one all the dependencies as it is written in the github.
I installed it on Ubuntu 14.04 server.

People vote for BRO at https://poswallet.com/
We have 115/1000 votes
It would be nice to have at least one exchange ready after ICO ends and poswallet has an online POS
Done, thanks for reminder  Smiley
Welcome, I hope also other bitradio users will vote. If there are just 1000 users and everybody votes we will be listed in few days. So easy if we all work together
... and the same process can be made on other exchanges with voting

Wow great. i also vote every day.. :-)

we have now 143 votes... a long way to go... but hey.. we try...

Yes, just give it a try in poswallet.
Even if they are the ones who's holding the "keys", I believe they will not run away as their credibility is at stake.
And as far as I know, they've been there for a long time now and they just keep on introducing new features. So running away is "no--no" for them.
By the way, if at least half of the bitrad.io users will have their poswallet, and vote everyday it's an easy task to get us listed.
So for those who have a lot of referrals, they might want to inform them also about poswallet.
Who knows, posw will be our starting point to give this bro coin some value.

-lol you put keys in quotations like it's just a word to use for them, it makes me feel like you don't understand at all how BTC works :/ they ARE keys...
-"AFAIK" -- right, and you DONT know, they have been around MAYBE 6 months lol
-their credibility"   -- WHO's credibility? lmao, you need a PERSON to have credibility. they are completely ANON, poof! and you wouldnt know where to start looking.. "credibility" lol...

but i digress, you are the same type that got cryptsy'd, and you all will get "PoSW'd" too and be crying to us for help ;p

I've used POSwallet, and while I agree with you that a person should only keep there what they are willing to lose, I believe that advice would apply regardless of how trustworthy they are. Your coins are only truly safe if they are in your possession, which means on a wallet that you have the keys for. You should also back up your wallet as well, meaning saving it off-machine.

That said, I've used POSwallet and trust them as much as I trust Bittrex or Poloniex, for whatever that's worth. Like you said, we've learned from exchanges disappearing over time. However, we still do use them, right? We just store more coins safely in cold storage, right?

Since when does a person provide credibility? Anyone can be the next Josh.

2 things. I apologize if these have already been suggested or whatever, but I don't have time to read all 20 pages to be sure.

I'm listening to the station "wordup" which seems to be a global hip-hop station, or something like that. I don't know any of the songs are artists being played but I would like to. It would be cool if the artist and trackname could play below the play/pause button. The song playing right now is great, I can't even tell what language it's in, but I'd love to know the artist's name to try and find more. I don't know if this is even possible, but it'd be a great feature in my opinion.

Sometimes the sound stops coming through the stream and it needs to be refreshed. It just happened to me a few minutes ago after listening to only one song. A refresh fixed it. It just happened again, in the middle of a track. I refreshed the page and press play again and it works. I'll try pause and play next time.

Oh, and one more thing. It would be cool if there was a chatbox of some kind. This would encourage user engagement and activity, and we could discuss music, crypto, etc. The site becomes more social this way. I could also ask someone what song this is, right now, because I wish I knew.
