Bitcoin Vs Litecoin (The Ultimate Question)

I really think that neither will happen. I believe that BTC will continue to gain more media attention, will become even more popular, but I don't think that will break trough the $5000 level.
LTC, if don't show more than is doing right now (functionality wise), won't have much more room to have more value than today. I think that is more a question if LTC will bring more to the game than everything else.

If bitcoin will run segwit successfully and LN will deliver all the promises without unexpected fuck ups bitcoin can break 5000 and even 50000, since real world usage in retail without 1 hour confirmations finally became possible. Litecoin, as only fairly launched coin, with adoption of bitcoin segwit and related software can have untraceable transactions, can process more volume, can do atomic swaps with bitcoin without centralized exchanges, gain some huge slice of bitcoin volume, etc.
It's really depends on blockstream and their software so much, if segwit fuck ups as BU guys tell us both coins can be doomed into oblivion, since SegWit is more like irreversible update. If bitcoin will not adapt SegWit for years and blockstream developers will move to Litecoin it will be funny and litecoin can even surpass bitcoin in capitalization.

By 2019 (exactly 2 years from today). What is more likely ?

Bitcoin @ $7,500 per coin

Or

Litecoin @ $150 per coin

imo i do not see any of them coming true because $7500 per bitcoin would not last a day and would spark many hodlers to dump all their coins and buy cheap btc when prices are dragged back down

and as for litecoin which has been around for quite a long time, has failed to convince investors to support the alt but as seen a few pumps of late.

$7500 dollars in two years time from now for BTC is quite an ambitious prediction also for litecoin its an ambitious too as there are  less development I think for this altcoin. But litecoin has more room for growth. This has a follower already.

But since Op wants us to choose one, I would choose Bitcoin $7500 . Well if that happens, I can sell my BTC happily.

Well JAPAN has legally adopted Bitcoin and China is in love with LITECOIN so you might have a nice surge in both of them as more and more people are coming into the digital currency space and many do like to hold more than Bitcoin in their portfolios. By 2019 we might see us all travelling to MARS if we get mass adoption for both, but I prefer the Pleiades star system myself.

Both predictions are optimistic and probably non of this two predictions will come true in 2 years from now. Don`t get me wrong I have some litecoins and I would love ltc to cost much more then now, but its impossible. I would be satisfied if ltc come to 30-40 dollars in next couple years.
Btc is something else, but I wonder how OP find this 7500 dollars, from where? Like someone said that price in two years can be just some pump, and after few minutes of that price we can expect big crash.

This is all just guessing; here is mine: I don't expect either of those targets to be hit. Comparing the two cryptocoins, my guess is LTC will outperform BTC over the next two years.

It's all just a prediction could be one better to other, but it all depends the market as well

I think most the chines also interested in bitcoin. if china is going to legalize a online currency, I am hopeful that they will also legalize bitcoin and only then they will be thinking about any other altcoin to turn it as legal currency or not.

Good prediction but i guess it depend in the market the coins can experience a price go down in the coming years and we can just say that yhe price will go up and up consistently in the future bitcoin can go dump and litecoin can be a dead coin as will but i guess they are good investment in this time and i guess the price will still go up.

It is just incomparable in price because obviously btc started it all 1st. But if we talk about the increase in price then there altcoins who can also increase in the same percentage. Ethereum for one has a high increase rate. And it is starting to become popular among investors. Don't get me wrong , it is still nowhere near btc but with its growing price it can entice a lot more people.

I think the prediction of both is not possible within 2 years bitcoin reaches such a very high value, So also the value of Ltc within the next 2 years must have increased but not increased drastically like that, Ltc will increase slowly.

For me bitcoin is still the best from litecoin as also we could not predict its price after 2 years. I dont think for the span of years that will reach $7500 immediately. So bitcoin is still on top among altcoins.

105 Million coins for a Global store of value is MINISCULE at best. say 1 coin is valued at 10,000$ USD, that only amounts to 1.05 Trillion Dollars.....

heres a little insight: There are around 8 Trillion dollars worth of Gold mined in the world today, and we are still finding more of them (We have no clue how many tons are left underground)

So if you really think that either of these crypto are gonna be the currency of the future, I think the real question everyone should be asking is : How do we make them easier to use (not just save) because for the life of me I don't see my self spending 0.0000035 btc for coffee every morning

Litecoin is currently under value compared to other crytocurrency of the same class. Litecoin move to $150  Before 2019 is very possible as since last week it has make a significant progress. Bitcoin on the other hand should get to $7500 before the end of 2019. My opinion is the two coins are going to trade above that value before the end of 2019.

Based on recent boom if it continues then the price prediction will happen the time you mentioned or before that . even it may reach sooner once all ether based ICO and token proved scam then people obviously look for bitcoin and oldest existing alternative coins like litecoin,ripple and doge
