I'm holding my coins finally bitcoin is back on its way to the moon. Today price is looking more stable above $1,150 so we have good chance to tough again $1,200 that's why I will wait. I think the things are getting cleared now and price will be sky rocket to new all time high by the end of this month.

Well, price won't be sky rocket but we see that price is stable. In stable I mean that price is higher than 1000$, it's not coming down. Well we had 1 week issue due to some facts and that's why it was between 900-950$. But to my mind your prediction isn't correct because it's so changeable and mystery, maybe it will fall down suddenly, it's very hard to determine now because no one thought that price would fall under 1000, everyone thought that price rising wouldn't stop.

This is just blatantly false. Just look at last similar milestone. 100 dollars ber bitcoin. Back in 2013 we broke on the upside and DOWNSIDE of it many, many times. Yes, the price on average is moving up, yet that doesnt disprove Finabocci, quite the opposite.

If you would say, that new bottom is say 750, we could talk about that. But not in context of what happened this or that particular week.

Not surprised to see it reach $1000 again what worries me a little bit is the problems up ahead that
might make a huge devalue on bitcoins price and if that happens who knows how much the price will drop
or how long will the price rise if the huge drop happens?

I think this is going to be the new base price for some time since there are still lots of doubt abut what will happen and what solution is going to win and take bitcoin into the future, so I think this volatility will remain for some time.

I think the price is just above $1000 right now. But still a good price IMHO. I think the base price would be like $1100 until such time that the BU vs Core issue is resolved. But I think even with the current dilemma, pretty much the price is looking good and it might rise in a few weeks. We just need not to listen to FUD around the corner because you will panic and soon sell your bitcoin without profit.

I plan to hold my bitcoin no matter what but I will be honest and say that when I first read about the rumor of a fork I was very fearful something like that will happen fortunately it was a rumor but you never know what will happen in the future.

If we buy bitcoins now in this time, So it is a big risk for us. You are telling right, only those people make profit from bitcoins who have bought bitcoins when its price down. Bro do not give damn for any trollers. If a business or anything, they just do that always. It's happy to hear that we are moving up to reach the next peak value in the chart.
I have started holding from restarting of this year, bitcoin is being adopted every day in the business and block chain tech seems executed many bitcoin related projects and for security concerns. These all kind of push will make bitcoin to touch 1500$ soon.

Bitcoin has to scale, that's correct. Problem is that a lot people here seem to ignore this as they believe the price will hit $2000 anyway. They don't realize that as long as there isn't a viable solution to end this nonsense, that the price can experience a severe downfall at any time. It doesn't take much for fud to once again impact the price in a negative manner. It has been like this years ago, and it still is the case today.

exactly once, at this time there has been a significant increase in the price of bitcoin. we could see some exchange has increased compared to last week. today many good news that makes a positive increase in bitcoin. one of which is a legally bitcoin acceptance by the Japanese state.

Technical upgrade   = Solution to block size debate?
It looks like block size debate will never be solved because there is lots of politics behind all those alternative solutions to segwit.

However other than some dip during hard fork FUD, bitcoin price is growing in quite healthy way. $1500 could be next ATH price by mid of this year.

I think it's safe to say that there will be no perfect scaling solution to end these endless block size discussions.

SegWit is what I believe the only proper *solution*, but the problem here is that it won't take long before the demand outgrows the 2MB blocks. Result of this is that everything we're experiencing right now, will once again be a problem after a year or so.

I would prefer the option that 2MB is the standard block size, but that there for example is a manual option to go for 3MB if needed and wanted. I know it isn't as easy as it seems, but that will make sure we don't run into the same discussions as is the case right now.

The price is $1380 in Poloniex. It seems after the segwit of the litecoin, it is quiet in the bitcoin so the price is rising.

this thread was posted on march 21 which is almost 2 months ago, OP and maybe the other people were very excited because the price of bitcoin was almost $1,100 . it's really great to see the movement of bitcoin because it is frequently getting increased today and for sure people at this time are getting excited because the current price is closer to $2,000 probably in the near future we will be excited when it is already closer to $3,000 .
