Of course it won't show up in the blockchain if it is unconfirmed. If you mean blockchain.info, then that means that the transaction fee paid by that transaction is too low, even for blockchain.info's node settings. As you can see from the images you posted, the transactions have a low fee warning from Electrum, so obviously the problem is that he paid too low of a transaction fee.

don't forget about other block explorers, the transaction is showing up in btc.com, blockchain.info don't usually show transactions with very low miner's fee until they get atleast 1 confirmation

i always check blockchain, and it shows up w/o confirmations. it usually says "unconfirmed"

this time there is just nothing there.

If your electrum is v 2.8.0 and above have your tried the fee bump option? Right click the tx in history and select fee bump, if it is available, bump up the fees to around 200 sats per byte, that should get confirmed the fastest

It now has four confirmations. Blocktrail shows the transaction was also included in an orphan block about twelve hours ago. Perhaps that created some problems.
