What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin?

What would you do when you're talking to someone but then he suddenly talks about his hatred on Bitcoin, what would you react to it?

I've never actually experienced anything like this before, I just want to be prepared when it happened to me.

I don't know any people who actualy hate Bitcoins but I do know some that don't like it. But usualy that is because of ignorance, because they don't know key informations about Bitcoin. So, first I try to explain what is Bitcoin all about, how it's functioning and what are the advantages. Sometimes they change their mind, sometimes they don't but at the end everyone has the right to its own opinion.

i would convince them that bitcoin is better than fiat, in one way or another if is still too stabborn to understand why i can just point him that you can make money with bitcoin, i'm sure now he would give bitcoin a try, when people heard about easy money they always jump on the train

People who dont know about bitcoins may hate it.They may raise their doubts about security of investments in bitcoins.In their life,they would have come across many such economical innovations which turned to be scam.They may relate bitcoins with such scam projects.But we have to explain them what exactly bitcoin is and how it has crossed its early stage to reach today's price of $1100.If they still talk against bitcoins,then it would be better to leave them as they are.When they realize about bitcoins in future,they may regret.

you needed to have a lots of knowledge about the system in order for you to answer them correctly, since they have hatred you must enlighten them to learn more about this great opportunity allowing them to realized that because of lack of knowledge that's why they hated bitcoin but with your explanation and proven example for sure they will be interested again.

I will let them speak until finished and see what is the problem, does he got the wrong information or does he being scammed by people using bitcoin, then I will give him explanation about bitcoin, it is hard to change someone mindset but when we got a proof of bitcoin advantage it will be easier for us to make him change his mind

We cant force someone to like something that they really hate,
We just have to respect each and everybody's opinion.

i will stop myself to not talk about bitcoin again and only talk with the other thing, maybe about his favorite thing because i don't want to debate with other people just to defend my argue. i realize that in out there many people still can not accepting bitcoin as a new technology and i am sure that they don't know about this but slowly i will explain to that person that bitcoin is for the good thing that we can do.

Leave the poor bastards alone. Try to explain what is bitcoin/blockchain once, if they are not interested, let them be. Some people just prefer to take the "blue pill". It is their own choice in the end. I was like those people in mid 2013, and kept being like that long after the gox crash. Then i realized that i might really need bitcoins in the future, so i better put some of my wealth in bitcoins and i don't care whatever the price is at any moment now. They will stay as bitcoins for a long time i don't care if its 2k$ or 100$. If it is 100$, it is better, i buy more. If its 2k$, that's better too i make more money. I hold my gold like this too. If you want to face those situations then you must be prepared. To do that you must do some heavy research on what is bitcoins. You must also understand how bitcoin was produced and how is the price being defined by the market. If you will not read and research then you will be a laughing stock of those people you want to discuss bitcoin with.

I deal with that kind of situations for long time when it comes to Linux, I'm a long time Linux user and often debated the Windows vs Linux vs OSX, I tend to win the argument.

The advantages of free open source software are so many that it is really hard to argue against, if not just because the superior technology, because it comes free or with very low cost usually wins the debate.

The only thing in favor of closed source systems is the low learning curve, usually they are very easy to use when compared with FOSS systems.

It is even easier to argue about bitcoin specifically, because not only it has all the advantages of FOSS but it is also a good investment.

Lots of people think Bitcoin is a scam or at least an idea that is just a waste of money. Most people don't really understand it. I like to tell people how much 1 Bitcoin is worth now and see the expression on their face. When they hear the price, their expression changes.

it depends on how much of your time you want to waste!

if you are not a patient person then just tell them you are right and be done with it. that's what they want to hear.

but if you are patient, then you need to find out why they are saying what they are saying. i found out that most people are angry towards bitcoin because they bought some, price went down they sold and lost money and then price went up. and now it is a lot higher so it is like a reminder of their failure and then missing out.
to these people you should say cut your losses and learn from your mistakes instead of sobbing.

Even though it has not happened to you anytime before but I actually experienced it earlier when I tried to explain some of my ex-colleagues about bitcoin. One of them actually tried to earn bitcoin through various online methods but got scammed by an exchanger two years back. So his hatred was about the entire online money earning process and not only on bitcoin.

However, if you find someone who hates bitcoin, just smile and try to avoid any topics related to bitcoin. Because we all know the power of bitcoin, it has changed many lives for good. So keep your believe in bitcoin and keep accumulating more and more so that you can achieve your dreams with bitcoin. Leave the losers behind!

I have never met a bitcoin transplant, most people in my country do not care and do not know bitcoin, so, people who know bitcoin, they love it, and they think a lot of ways to earn Money from it. I also go that way, I make money with bitcoin, it's a small income to improve my life. And if that is the case, I'll find a way to make their hatred disappear. You can show them the benefits of bitcoin.

I won't talk about bitcoin in front of him, people have their own opinion on something and i respect that. I won't bother explaning bitcoin to him either. It's not easy to change people opinion if their hatred are too large.

If they say bad things about bitcoin then try to counter it or answer it on a nice way maybe he would able to understand and might change his view about bitcoin and this would depend on the explanation you would give.If they would resist then let it be and move on because there are people who doesnt really like to hear some explanations and i could say its a missing opportunity for them.

I can't imagine there are that many people that outright hate bitcoin, if they did then they would have had to be affected in a negative way at some point, which means at some point they would have had to like bitcoin, maybe.

Bitcoin I suppose isn't for everyone right now as it is kind of underground still and I find when trying to inform someone about bitcoin it ends up becoming a long sales pitch and people think it's difficult to get into.
