What would you do when you're talking to someone but then he suddenly talks about his hatred on Bitcoin, what would you react to it?

I've never actually experienced anything like this before, I just want to be prepared when it happened to me.
Disliking Bitcoin is one thing, but hatred means that the person has some serious misconceptions,I'll try to find out why does the person hates bitcoin and will try my best to help clear things out.

We are not in control of what people are thinking, we may have different perception about bitcoin but we have to respect each other. Bitcoin is for everyone but not everyone will take effort to learn bitcoin as if it will not be useful for them it's just a waste of time. Some people believe bitcoin is scam, they have that kind of understanding because they are uneducated and we cannot force them to change their mind, besides it's their loss not ours.

There will be a few people that hate on Bitcoin only because it's a new payment system and they're unfamiliar of spending money electronically without the means of PayPal or other popular businesses that allow spending money electronically.
Once the person find out that there isn't any Banking system that is backs Bitcoin then they start to hate on it.
Little do they know that Banks are already using Blockchain technology to help improve their systems. It's only money so I don't quite get the hate on it other than that.

There are two types of people like this:

- Beginner: those new to direct entry into high risk businesses such as HYIP program, cloud mining, trading and gambling without sufficient knowledge. People like this are the people who cry loudest when he knew their investment was scam, or gambling suffered a crushing defeat.

- Expert: incumbents who lost everything as loss of total deposits at mt GOX and bitfinex few years ago, or primary account hacked or permanently suspended.

The solution is to answer their hatred with a lot words of wisdom and discuss what kind of business more easily and effectively minimize risk, or talk about account security layered so as not to concede. An expert is able to survive and don't weep for failure.

I think disliking and hatred were of the same. One has hatred over a particular thing when it's been disliked. It's best to explain the advantages as well the way how it works and the growth from the scratch. Rest we cannot do anything, if they are not willing.

Well we don't have to force these people to believe about bitcoin facts on our lives because, everybody has it's own will to receive that nice information from you. All you have to do is explain to him about everything that you gain from bitcoin investments you have whether its coming from micro jobs from btc talk, or even good stories that you experienced like from gambling betting which has more fun games.

I do agree with you, it is not our gain if we forcefully make them see that they are wrong.  And in my experience often end up as an argument and hating each other.   If after explaining he don't want to accept the facts we presented, then let us just respect it and move on.  He will realize it after sometime but not on the spot since ego/pride always hinders thing.

 True.
Bitcoin isn't something that is of mandatory usage. Bitcoin could be used when playing online and it is actually preferred as a payment of choice when someone is gambling online or if someone wants money transacted without a banking provider telling them what to do.
Bitcoin is like by many and hated by some, I am on neither side of Bitcoin because it isn't real money to begin with.
Maybe one day someone will secretly put Bitcoins within some sort of banking company and make it seem like it's another Currency that is being transacted instead of Bitcoin.

Many people who hate bitcoin are middle-aged or more, afraid and/or even hostile with the technology and some times they are contrary to due to their religious beliefs. Talking to them and trying to explain the most likely will be to not achieve anything. There are people who are really negative the whole idea. Hence, let them to stick with the fiat and 'enjoy the rest of your day'.

Interesting, I've noticed that as well..I just didn't understand how to properly type it out.
Not liking Bitcoin really depends on the age of the person not liking it, I am pretty sure that this is a major point. Most of the old people are used to spending their dollar bills and getting exact change without really doing much math when they purchase something in real life.
Bitcoin is real easy to use, there is also calculators available so that the person purchasing/receiving the payment will have an exact figure before doing so.

Most of the old people think it's rubbish.

We cant really blame them since there are people who do really stick on their own views or beliefs which we cant change it no matter what. Telling the good side of bitcoin is always a good move or start on the explanation but we should also tell them the negative sides of it so that they would be aware.

Yeah, we can't really blame them for not liking Bitcoin because people have their own opinions. It's like how most of the guys on this forum compare Bitcoin to the early stages of Email Providers, nobody really liked them till stuff like Aol, Hotmail, Gmail etc grew famous and more users really started to use them.
I think that most people will be using Bitcoin or something similar to Bitcoin within the next four years.

There is nothing we can do if there are people having a hate or non the less liking with bitcoin cause not all people would really all want any thing a larger amount of people like, because there will always be someone with different interest I think the right way to do is to ignore it, not to ignore the person if that person is your friend you just need to respect what he really wants.

Also, I've never actually experienced anything like this before. But First i will ask him the reason of hating bitcoin. As i see there is no ways to hate this great cryptocurrency. By the way, If he have some reasons, I think there isn't a convincing reason. And i will talk to him to leave this wrong idea about bitcoin.

Me too, I've  never actually  experienced  anything like this. But in my opinion and if I ever meet someone with similar situations,I will explain the advantages of having     on it and how bitcoin helps to facilitate transactions. If he /she really don't  want to use bitcoin again, there's  nothing we can do. We can not force someone he /she did not want to do.

I started collecting Bitcoins in 2012. Five years have passed. Till now, I have never entered in to an argument with someone who is anti-Bitcoin. It is a complete wastage of time and effort to argue with these people. For some of them, everyone using BTC is a drug peddler. For some others, Bitcoin users are tax evaders who don't want o contribute to the society. There is no point in arguing, when their brains are filled with predefined opinion about the currency.

A cat saw a piece of meat but he couldn't reach it so he said pfff it stinks anyways, problem with many people they don't understand they simply don't get it, when price was at $1000 just 3 days ago I told my dad: hey dad why don't you buy 10 bitcoins just for a test I promise you that it'll rise much higher than this and he said: Nah I'm good, but when price went above $1100 I told him about it and he said: WOW I wish I'd listened to you.
Though he understands the concept and the importance of bitcoin but he's hard wired that way and he will never dare to risk anything just sits back and watches as great opportunities passing by the minute.

We can do nothing. There is no way to convince them about this issuem only time will fix their mind and make them realize that bitcoin is not very bad. And in fact, bitcoin can be determined as the most precious currency on this planet. The more they use it, the more they can understand how cool it can be
Many people don’t understand the profit behind using bitcoin, and don’t realize the possible opportunities that it can give us, they think that it is some sort of waste of time, but it is their lose because when the time comes we are the ones who will be standing proud when the bitcoin rises above all and becomes a powerful currency and we already can see our superiority simply because we own more money more than they do.

actually, there's nothing you can do about if someone hates or don't like bitcoin it's there choice and as if his perception to bitcoin will change . anyway, if the situation is getting worst then you two should stop talking about bitcoin there's no good outcomes on discussing about what you love in bitcoin's feature as well as the thing hated in bitcoin .

I will not opposed what he would say on bitcoin even he will hated and bash it as much. Then after that, I will slowly explain to him what is bitcoin, how to start on it and how to earn until I make him to convince. I will not convince that I know that he is not interested and I'm not explain him fastly. While you are convincing him you really know if he is interested by his response.
