Would YOU choose to live forever?

Wow, this is welcome development for reverse ageing but I don't want to live forever

All I want is to die after my mom because I don't her crying when I'm gone

When I was younger, I used to want to live forever.  I am guessing my opinion is changing since I used to work at the Oncology/Hospice department.  As we get older, you may be able to prolong life and even make a variety of body parts replaced but we still haven't been able to define the limit of memory or even retaining valuable memories in the older stages of life.  A few mind puzzles, a healthy diet, but how long can we keep up a routine before we realize it's too much for us to handle?  Even if we have a different personality, there seems to be generation gap to what we are used to things in our lives like experiencing a mom and pop stores and even indoor malls.  If there was an option to die at the end of the life cycle and eventually over time come back, I might take it.  However, to live forever while others around me may not be able to afford to live forever will be difficult with trying to relate to the changes in my own environment.  If we can rejuvenate our youth, we still will feel old with the capacity of memories we hold in the mind that eventually can easily want to forget what was lost or dear to us.  This is a subjective opinion about choosing to live forever and it is one of those ideas many will have a different idea during the different phases of their life cycle or events in their own situation.

haha good question. I dont think i would. The beauty of life is that it runs out. If it went on forever, then many things you do would seem boring. Either way, it would be interesting. Another good use would be that you could have the time to explore different planets.

yes i would, there are so many amazing things to discover and try that it would be never boring, i would see the first real light sabre maybe or the first mutant with wings able to fly or become one.

This is a difficult poll because we can't know what changes await us in the future. Now I would not give up this opportunity. I am very interested to know and see how to develop science and technology. I also love to travel and it would be a good chance to visit every corner of our planet, and perhaps in space.

Yes, God decides when we come to earth and when to die, so we can never make our body immortal.

Yes, I would choose to live forever. I love my life, my family, my pets... Eternal life, it is a dream. Whoever does not want to live forever or does not like his life is stupid.

But what about old age and illness? I would not want to live forever with a bunch of all diseases and an old body and even look at my family as she suffers from old age.

Even if I was given the chance to have more and be more, which I believe everyone is destined to some extent, I wouldn't want it to last forever.

Sometimes I even see 70 years as forever and the idea to live way past that would only be acceptable if I wouldn't be frowned upon for committing suicide.

Death is our final destination and we need to do as much as we can for ourselves before it comes. You never know when that will be, so you better not waste away your life, which would happen undoubtedly if you know you were gonna live forever.

would you want to stay on earth forever while your body are pulling you to your grave? remember that your physical appearance when your about 60 would change and deteriorate while you are still alive. imagine what your body would be like when you are about 500 years old.

I want to live forever and do all the things in life. Enroll in different program, travel the world. Invent things and meet my grandchildren.
