Scientists have made a discovery that could lead to a revolutionary drug that actually reverses ageing.

The drug could help damaged DNA to miraculously repair and even protect Nasa astronauts on Mars by protecting them from solar radiation.

A team of researchers developed the drug after discovering a key signalling process in DNA repair and cell aging.

During trials on mice, the team found that the drug directly repaired DNA damage caused by radiation exposure or old age.

'The cells of the old mice were indistinguishable from the young mice after just one week of treatment,' said lead author Professor David Sinclair.

Human trials of the pill will begin within six months.

I would choose to live forever if only most of people can live forever. Because life would be lonely if you live forever but your loved ones are not.

Hahahaha I think it is too brutal with yourself. I don't think that being immortal is also good, we should also experience to get being old and every second and every minute of our lives will make us old. That's true because time is running. I don't also know if I will able to choose to live forever but maybe if I would be given a chance then why not? I have a lot of time to earn more for my family. If only there are no people dying from now on, and let's just be happy, but of course, there is also no baby anymore, because if all of us will live forever and continue to make babies then our population will get disaster!  LOL

I would choose to live forever under 2 circumstances.

1. To be able to die if i choose to.
2. If my beloved ones would live forever too.

Apart from the obvious choice one has to count what the use of death is and how he would cope if had not the choice of dying and has to leave a continous miserable life for ever if that was the case

Yes I would live forever with my family and special love. Living forever without willingly serving your family or someone is meaningless.

Most certainly, who wants to die when we have this gift of life. The problem is that it will adversely effect the poor as they won't be able to afford the drugs. Thus this world will be filled with old rich people while poorer ones will die off. Not really fair, sounds like an ugly future.

Well, life is a the collection of memories, and the capacity to memorize is physically limited. at a point, in order to record a new memo, the brain will have to discard one. I would like to live long enough but in a not ageing body. Imagine being 80 y old on a body of 35.
