I do not want to live forever. But for a moment I realize that people around me are leaving me they die one by one , and I live forever in years, and will eventually feel the loneliness and I just want to die.
Yes that's true if you look at it from the perspective that only you live forever and all the other people you know live regular lives. But what if the medicine is produced so everyone could live forever? Imagine it. |

Think of how wonderful it would be if you were in a car accident, and you lost a leg, and a arm, and were decapitated, besides. You could use your one good arm to sling your chopped-off leg over one shoulder, and your chopped-off arm over the other shoulder. Then you could pick up your head with your one good arm, and hop away on your one good leg.  |

But dude seriously, before they discover immortality they will definitely first discover a way to grow/replace human organs and limbs. That's pretty much the way it will most likely go because why keep an 100yrs old and used body parts when you can have a brand new one. The other way would be to upload your mind into a new, probably made of some kind of tough material, body and live forever switching the bodies as needed. That would pretty much solve our problem of our fragile bodies and open a door to inter planetary exploration. I don't think that'll happen for a couple of hundred years at least but the technology and medicine are making progress every day at an astonishing pace. Only 100years ago people were using sticks to beat each other up and now we're riding on plans etc. Everything is possible and doable, we just don't have yet the tech to do it. |

Forever? No... A long f*&#*ng time?? Sure. As long as I'm not a bag of bones and and can move smooth, I'm in.
But death, death is the final frontier. Gonna need to face that someday.

I wouldnt choose to live forever. All your friends, relatives and loved ones will pass away and you will still be alive for what reason? your life will look boring when you think of the good times you spend with those who are no more.

Nope, i don't want this happen to me. In the end, you will get bored to it.
When everyone want to have immortal life, they will have other disadvantage like, everyone can't have child anymore when world get full.
Just enjoy your life while you can.

Because I dont think that having boring life forever is something good. It could be bad doing same thinks over and over again that is crazy

i would choose to live forever, if only everyone can make the same choice, if everyone can choose to live forever then the world will be fun, but if i can only make a choice to live forever but my next door neighbour does not have that choice to make then time will come when the world will become boring to me, a situation where everyone i love and hold dear have all died but am still alive, maybe my kids will grow old and dies my grand kids too, but i will still be living, what a boring world that would be.
