So Satoshi Bitcoin will split to Chinese Bitcoin and Blockstream Bitcoin.

If only core developers were capable/motivated/competent to find a solution to increase block size so that people can continue using bitcoin without paying ridiculous fees and insane confirmation time.
Anyways, if there is a split then BTC will not survive as BU needs 70% miner support and if there is 70% support, even less than 50% of those miners can do a 51% attack on BTC, so BTC will need to change their POW as they are planning now, at that point BTC will no longer be BTC but just another altcoin, and a technically inferior coin to many other altcoins.

So why wait for everything to fall apart when the only option is to choose an altcoin and start using it.

Well said. It is possible that the two new coins will never be what BTC was.

I thought a peaceful split is a good thing, but this does not look peaceful anymore. BTC is inferior compared to most altcoins but it was THE ONE AND ONLY.

Technically there is no good reason to invest into BU or the "new PoW-BTC"...

But hey, $200 ETH and $500 DSH could be the answer

if there is a 30% leftover they will switch too. and if you keep saying "change POW" and miners feel threatened we will end up having 95-100% hashrate on BU which is going to be awesome. not because i like BU, no i beleive it is a bad idea right now, but because a 95-100% consensus means a smooth fork.

I think you should put links that are saying facts before you spit that out. No matter what it will come back to its real value after all of this ends. At least now, just make profits of what is happening or buy some more seeing it is getting cheaper.

changing the pow don't broke the fundamental law of bitcoin, like changing the 21M supply which would kill the way the deflation inflation rate work

If the Core changes the PoW and the cost of mining one bitcoin is just $50, then the price of bitcoin will crash.

we just needs solution for all of comunity bitcoin, fixing the problem of bitcoin.

If that is what people want, why don't they switch to litecoin ?  It is "bitcoin with another PoW", and with 4 times more room on the chain.  Moreover, it has Segwit also ready.  So the thing you are hoping for, exists already several years.  Why don't people switch massively to Litecoin ?

I will tell you: because it is called Litecoin.

Litecoin is almost as "pristine" as bitcoin.  The simple fact that it is not called "bitcoin" is what holds people back.  

This illustrates the irrationality of this whole happening.  Bickering over would-be things that exist already for years next door, because it doesn't have the right brand name.

What core is trying to do, is already done since years.  Next door.

When bitcoin split into 2, I don't think it's bad, as anyone who have bitcoin will have both new assets, with total value possibly no less than before.
