I do think that volatility is the sole reason we are in this cryptocurrencies world its extremely beneficial for those who knows how to make a good use out of it .
Volatility let's you make profit even when the price of bitcoins goes up and down by a small margin.
By active selling and buying of bitcoins you could actually be able to accumulate a lots of profit if done right.
being volatile makes it kind of similar to the share market but the only thing is it's... More stable than that ..
People who brought super low are now millionaires and you think volatility is bad ? It isn't ..

With the price of Bitcoin being so volatile should we ever consider buying or even holding if we have bitcoins?

What are your thoughts??? What should we do??

As it stands today at this moment, the Bitcoin volatility index reads:
4.57% the latest 30-day volatility estimate
3.54% the latest 60-day volatility estimate

The bitcoin volatility index for present day can be seen at: https://btcvol.info/

My opinion of bitcoin longterm can be investigated here in this post titled "Hacks & puppets & forks - how to destroy bitcoin": https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1834310.0

Volatility plays an important role for the cryptocurrencies. Though it is risky, yet investment in the crypto can lead to huge amount of profits that too in a short period of time. So, it would be advisable to hold onto your bitcoins rather than selling them in a time of panic. Also you can buy the coin when it is at its lowest and then be patient and hold the coin. It can lead to great gains. Similar is the case with Ethereum. Ethereum has shown a profit of 3700% in the past year and still shows much more potential.

If now is the same time is very suitable for buying bitcoin and if you already have bitcoin then you better keep it alone Because now the bitcoin price is getting lower you better wait until bitcoin price back up and usually bitcoin will back up at the end year

I don't think we still need to raise eye brow on Bitcoin volatility obvious to every Bitcoinner in its real sense. No matter what anybody or any author might say to disengage people from having anything done with Bitcoin, I believe we shall all take this with levity since we all knows where we are heading towards in Bitcoin tht they are mere FUDs. You just have to hold with optimism that shall soon materialize where the Bitcoin is perceived going the moon in about the next 2 quaters of the year.

bitcoin price today it seems to reach the bottom price because I see the sign to bounce up again although I am not sure about this. maybe the price wants to try to break higher price but we still need to wait for a while. so make sure that you have bitcoin to sell even to make a small profit or you can wait the price is down again so you can buy another amount.

I think bitcoin's volatility is normal, and if it doesn't fluctuate, no one will invest in bitcoin.

If you've been working in this industry for a long time, it seems normal for you to experience market value pumping and dumping. Don't panic because the market is weak, the market will recover.

Of course you can sell all your coins now, but is this going to be a good deal when the prices in the market so decreased? Many panic because of this, but I think we should wait. Predicting is difficult, but I believe that in the near future prices will rise.

Votality value of bitcoin is normal which we don't need to be worried.
As joiners, first thing you need to do is learn everything about its background so better hold your investment if the value is low, just wait until the value becomes normal.

You should hold because there is a chance for the market price of Bitcoin to recover since dumps are just temporary and recovery will soon happen after a couple of months. Selling won't be a good idea because your potential profit will be gone. Holding is a much necessary thing to do given that selling will just contribute to the dumps or will just simply make the situation worse. So just be patient and hold.

I think the mid-term effects of BTC contracts are settling in and will continue to find expression in the day trading business. What anyone can do is to actually hold until the market is fully adjusted to the reality.

The volatility in the market is already a valid reason to hold. Since the market value moves a lot, selling will just yield into loss of potential profit. We all knoe that Bitcoin's market value for a long run is increasing continuously. Also, selling will just make the situation worse or will just contribute to make the market value of Bitcoin to fall even more.

this now is right time buy much bitcoin, because bitcoin price now is low under 1000 dollar
you can buy much bitcoin and hold in long time

I agree with this, and we should take risk now . I think the price of Bitcoin nowadays is very low because of the huge pump that was happened last year and mid year is comung keep waiting, and praying that soiner you can have your profit in a better state already just wait and that is cryptocurrency , the nature of being volatile currency is its nature, so if you dont want to regret wait for it to increase.

You learn lot of things by spending some time in the field of bitcoin and that once you will be having enough experience, then there will be no such problem and that you will not be worried by this volatile nature of the bitcoin.

This is something which is playing a key role in making you earn more money and that you need to keep on holding your bitcoins so that you can then make out better money.

Bitcoin is very volatile in nature and that has been very obvious from the start. Personally that is also my main reason why I HOLD my coins, due to its volatility we have to be very strategic and smart about our actions to ensure that we will be able to get good returns. More often than not, we need to hold our coins for a little bit longer to be able to have good profits when we sell them.

I think that's alreay an enough reason to hold which is because volatility is really observable at this moment or it is simply obvious. Selling at times like this will result into loss of opportunity to earn huge profit. If they will sell they'll surely lose their investment even if it is alreary given yhat the market value will soon increase or recover because dumps are just temporary and there's a stop to it and that's the thing that the investors should wait for.

The reason why you should your bitcoins even it is volatile is because bitcoin has potential in the cryptocurrency world. You can ensure that you can make profit by holding all of your bitcoins.

I think the bitcoin price is already trading in a low price, so why should we sell to book lost, i think now we should wait to hold our bitcoin for some time and do not need to sell, because the bitcoin price is hopefully will recover its price very soon. Therefore i think holding bitcoin in current time will surely be good. I think you should remain calm and should wait for some to hold your bitcoin.

For me, at the start we all know that price of bitcoin is very hard to predict you can’t tell even in just a day price might do very low or very high. If your reaction in the price market that is happening every minute, that you are always curious what might happen better sell you coins it might be the cause if you have a heart attack by now. The key in bitcoin is patience. Hold your coins think that you don’t have it, and when the price is up. Remember that you have one, then think what will you do next.

While many members of the forum do not really like the volatility of the market, most people here are invested in bitcoin and in other cryptocurrencies because they want to earn money and what they are expecting is a huge growth in the value of bitcoin or whatever other cryptocurrencies in which they have invested money then that means that they are here for the volatility whether they admit that or not.
