When the price is too volatile as it is today then the best way to get a profit is to hold, be patient until the end of the year because as it happened before that prices will skyrocket at the end of each year.
Patient when price is volatile this makes us to earned. Usually when price drops people tends to panic in this case we should hold because their is a return of favorable profit to us. Bitcoin will always go up just check the price before it is normal.

I believe the long term objective is to hold bitcoin and buy at any given opportunity of an all-time-dip; then sell by investing in alts as soon as the price correction kicks in and it goes up again, then trade it back for bitcoin on the alternate cycle. This should be more effective than watching it loom in your wallet every time the price index fluctuates too radically.

We all know that the bitcoin price is highly volatile and this volatile is one of the characteristics of the bitcoin. And it is better to hold your bitcoin because in the long run the bitcoin price will goes up and it is proven that if the price of the bitcoin will down it will rise again.

With the price of Bitcoin being so volatile should we ever consider buying or even holding if we have bitcoins?

What are your thoughts??? What should we do??

As it stands today at this moment, the Bitcoin volatility index reads:
4.57% the latest 30-day volatility estimate
3.54% the latest 60-day volatility estimate

The bitcoin volatility index for present day can be seen at: https://btcvol.info/

My opinion of bitcoin longterm can be investigated here in this post titled "Hacks & puppets & forks - how to destroy bitcoin": https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1834310.0

Bitcoin is well known because of it's volatility. Just hold your coin until the price will get back to normal and you will see in the near future that your investment will not be in vain. Be optimistic enough and remember that market is usually designed for a long term purposes. For that, we should not expect profit at an early stage.

Bitcoin's price value in the market is always unpredictable it changes from time to time, and it so unreliable but if we continue to hold our coins for the time being until its value increase again it will all be favorable and profitable for us...but it will takes a lot of patient and waiting on our part if we do that but still we have all the reason to do that.

I agree with you, that we should hold on until the price starts to normal again, it's much better.
be patient for something big.

with the title alone, you can answer your question. Because its volatile, you can take advantage of its volatility by scalping, you'll profit a lot by selling high and buying low, though if you're a long term holder then the rise and drop of the price every now and then won't matter at all.

The calculations that you have done are very interesting. Nevertheless, I am sure that holding Bitcoin is the right strategy for now. Yes, it can fall but for a very short period of time. Then BTC will grow again.

You should hold bitcoin because bitcoin has bright future. I am really sure that our life will become better if we will do long term investment with bitcoins. There are a lot of benefits that we can earn through holding bitcoins.

What I know of the World of Cryptocurrency is indeed very volatile. The price of all coins can change in a very fast time. So I'm not surprised if the value of Bitcoin always fluctuates. I still hold the coins I have because I believe these coins have a good future and the price can be high. I believe Bitcoin and all Altcoin will last for a long time.

Fluctuation is the most factor of bitcoin has ,we hodl our bitcoin because we think for better future and we believe on the possibilities may happen towards the future. Although, the transactions is so much risky the important we put some investment to have chances to gain enormous profit.
The right time for holding bitcoin is when the price fluctuates and many corrections there. Holding is better because now bitcoin is on the track and with the passage of time the price is increasing. If you hold your bitcoin you will earn a lot of money, but if you sell them out, you will not be able to buy it again at this price. so in this time holding is better.

For me the price still good, although there are volatility, but in the end the price is crawling up, and that is the real reason of investing, as long as it is potential to earn profit then it is worth to invest and by this volatility you can earn some profit by trading

The exchange rates have dropped by as much as 30% during the last 2-3 weeks, partly due to the tough competition with Ether. But my opinion is that, you should hold your coins, and if possible buy more. Ether is just an inflated balloon. No one knows when it is going to crash.

Yes, the best thing to do as of today is just hold your coins or you can invest a huge amount in order to earn more profit when the market goes back to normal, always remember to buy when low and invest when the price is low and do not panic selling your coins in order not to lose a huge amount of your investment.

Why we should make investment with bitcoins even it is volatile? it is because bitcoin has limited supply and its price is continuing to become more valuable. There are a lot of benefits that we can get from holding bitcoins.

Bitcoin is for long term investment and many people want to fulfill their dreams in the future, I think you should also do the same. Selling is not good in this day because the price is below $10k and is increasing day by day and in the future it will be double than today’s price. Volatility is not a problem. It will not eat your bitcoin if you keep them safe in your blockchain wallet.

As you say,  yes BTCs are undeniably unpredictable.  For that reason many are afraid to hold but many stay smart and wait for the right moment where BTCs are in their highest value. Despite that fact,  we still must accept the risk and risk further as it will eventually result into success.  It is still early to say that BTCs and other cryptocurrencies will go down.  Stay alert and updated to lessen the risk of disaster for your BTCs.

At the point when the cost is excessively unpredictable as it is today then the most ideal approach to get a benefit is to hold. be persistent until the finish of the year on the grounds that as it occurred before that costs will soar toward the finish of every year.

I ever read a story about a man who holds his bitcoin for years, if I'm not mistaken, for ten years. he said that he does not care what people said and what happened, he just kept holding and then he finds bitcoin in high price. so I just want to say to keep holding your bitcoin

All involved in the market trading always have the degree of Volatility on its value share on the market trading. The market will go up and down depending on the market issues and the market movement on the price of Bitcoin project. The simple principle followed in the trading Market is " By low and Sell high". You can hold on to your Bitcoin while the market price is low then wait for the right timing once the market price goes up and decide on what to do next for Bitcoin project investment.

Votality of bitcoin is uncontrolable and we can't change it no matter what because it is already a given trait of it. I believe that we must just keep flexible to handle these changes that we might face anytime. If you have a short temper and too impatience about the votality then sell, but if you are brave enough to take all the risks , just hold.

I think bitcoin's volatility is normal, and if it doesn't fluctuate, no one will invest in bitcoin.

If you've been working in this industry for a long time, it seems normal for you to experience market value pumping and dumping. Don't panic because the market is weak, the market will recover.

I think if you have money maybe to buy bitcoin, it will be able to make a profit. In bitcoin conditions now hold and buy is a good choice. With a very fluctuating bitcoin price right now, I'd rather hold and buy because it's good for the long haul.
I think it's better to hold bitcoin until the price returns to normal. Such fluctuations in my opinion make sense in bitcoin, I am sure in a few months this will be back to normal and the price will rise.
