There is a better opportunity to develop and have good earning if you invest into bitcoin. Plus even when I studied Economics in college, I remember being told you should watch out for the banks if you do a long term saving, since that is not the most profitable alternative to make your money working for you.

As what you have stated that bitcoin price is so volatile and it is the main reason why long term is the good idea because it will give you the chance to observe if the price is good enough to sell or not

before we have to know that bitcoin has a volatile price so with situations like this is a normal thing and that is our way to get profit so that what you have to do now is still to hold and wait for the price to go up again

With the price of Bitcoin being so volatile should we ever consider buying or even holding if we have bitcoins?

What are your thoughts??? What should we do??

As it stands today at this moment, the Bitcoin volatility index reads:
4.57% the latest 30-day volatility estimate
3.54% the latest 60-day volatility estimate

The bitcoin volatility index for present day can be seen at: https://btcvol.info/

My opinion of bitcoin longterm can be investigated here in this post titled "Hacks & puppets & forks - how to destroy bitcoin": https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1834310.0
If you can't trust yourself then do not make investment with bitcoins. Making investment with bitcoins is for strong hands only. You can't grow your investment if you do not have a lot of patience and knowledge.
You need to trust in bitcoin as well, after all if someone only invested in bitcoin because he thinks he can make money and not because he believes in the potential of the technology then that person will never get as much profits as someone that believes in bitcoin, so if a person does not believe in bitcoin that person should not be in this market at all and should invest in something else.

Before you go into bitcoin you should fully believe to its potential and the future of bitcoin because if you are just here because you are hyped by a person who made a lot of money in bitcoin then you should not go into it because it requires self determination and also knowledge before putting any amount of money into it to avoid regrets.

You shouldn’t be asking that question. Whether to buy, hold or sell is a decision that you will make by yourself. You don’t need anyone to tell you that you’re supposed to HODL or sell, it’s a  decision you can take by yourself. You know when you’re making loss and when you’re profit. If what you’re making is loss, you can decide to cut it short by selling off immediately to avoid further loss and wait till price starts going up. But if you’re making profit and there isn’t much loss, then you can continue to HODL till you feel like you’ve gotten enough.

I think you will not keep the bitcoin at this point, you can see that bitcoin prices are constantly fluctuating and falling sharply since reaching the $ 19800 level by the end of 2017. At present the bitcoin price has dropped 70 % to $ 6700 at the present time, only after 6 months. I believe bitcoin prices will continue to fall sharply so if you keep and invest long-term in bitcoin at this point it will be very risky, the risk will be very high.

At first glance, it may seem that the complication of the mining process has a positive effect on the Crypto currency, as the number of speculators decreases with time. In fact, soon all single liners will not be able to engage in the production of bitcoin, since this will require a prohibitively expensive technique

holding assets can be done for someone to earn big profits in the future without having to panic when its value does not change. If I think bitcoin is suitable to be used as a long term investment

We know for a fact that bitcoin price is so volatile from the very beggining and the reason why we sign up for this it's because we agree for it. Bitcoin is really for long term I agree with you.

If you are a knowledgeable trader, then you should know the reason why you should hold your bitcoins even its value is so volatile. I am one of the investors who keep holding bitcoin in a long time because I know that I can earn many benefits by holding it.

I wonder why most people are in a haste of selling the bitcoin they possess. Looking at the price of bitcoin and other alts, there has been a drastic fall in the market and i use to ask myself when will the prices spike? What to do is just to hold everything and wait for some time before finalizing to sell.

Why you enter to the cryptocurrency market if you do not believe to the bitcoin? You will only lose your money if you are always thinking negative. You can make bad decisions if you will continue to think negative.

this now is right time buy much bitcoin, because bitcoin price now is low under 1000 dollar
you can buy much bitcoin and hold in long time

This would be one of the greatest way of earning in the way of holding since many people that panicked are increasing so you can have more Bitcoin with you. Volatile is not the problem here, its the attitude of people of being affected by it and doing unappropriated thing.

Holding bitcoin is a great idea because we seen the priced are dipping right now. This is the best time to buy more bitcoin and holding for longer time. Always considering that bitcoin is too volatile, buying low and hold it for better profit in the future.

Being volatile is common with bitcoin. Looking at the price volatility coming up with a decision to stop holding bitcoin  and making investments over gold or other commodity trading is not the right thing to do. Even now there are users who has been making use of the volatility by this price fall.
