Hello Newbie here I got a question about the KNCMiiner if I did buy it will it actually make 1.66 bitcoin a day? I know this seems like a stupid question.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Your article is very old.  That machine will loose money.  It uses more power than the value of the bitcoin it makes.  An S9 at 13 Th/s makes a little less than $10 worth of btc a day.

Even if you have free electricity, you'd be lucky to make that much with those machines, ever.

Look up some more modern miners like the Antminer S9.  Even then, I wouldn't simplify it like the article does, success isn't guaranteed because of variance and if you join pools that are too big they'll take a lot in fees like Antpool - plus electricity costs can be higher than earnings if you don't think about it beforehand.

He already told you no. It won't make 1 bitcoin in 1000 years even. No mining hardware will make you 1 bitcoin in a day unless you buy at least 500 of them.

There is the Bitfury BlockBox IC which runs at 15PH/s or the smaller version BlockBox AC with up to 7.5 PH/s. They should be able to mine 1-10 bitcoins per day, depending on your luck.
You can check them out here. http://bitfury.com/products#blockbox-ac

Of course they may be cost prohibitive. They cost in the millions. You have to fill out an application to possibly receive a quote.

Nobody is going to sell a miner for much less than what they could make on it themselves by mining.

you currently need 2k tera or 2 peta to mine 1 btc a day, that would cost you something like $250k, but would generate $27k per month minus electricity

electricity is like $7k per month(calculated for 5 cent), therefore a net of $20k per month, roi doesn't look so bad actually, around 12 months

There is NO single miner available at this time that will mine 1 bitcoin/day.

That has been true for years now.

The BitMain S9 (which is the current highest-hashrate miner model available to the public at ballpark 13 TERRAhash/sec AKA 13,000 GigaHash/s) will mine a little more than 0.006 bitcoin in a day right now - but as difficulty increases, that will drop over time. As of right now, it would take a little more than 150 of these miners to achieve 1 BTC / day income.

The Bitfury Blockbox is an rather large assemblage of miner modules, not a single miner.

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!
