It is the only thing that is money the price of bitcoin,there is a scaling issue with bitcoin but i hope there wont be any issue ,the only difference i see is that all the alt coins has gained momentum and all the coins has reached a level which i thought is not possible in the near term but we are seeing a good change in that aspect .

depends how long you are on ETH is guess, but i would say its just the normal eb and flow of the markets with BTC's price right now.
Remember theres a SHITPILE of miner selling pressure, but others are also still stacking for Casper.
BTC is only uncertain in price right now cause noobs actually think there will be a fork, nough said ;p good buying/collecting time

you need to act fast in this market. buy low and sell high as fast as you can and get out and go to the next project because nobody is going to wait for you to enter the next best thing. by the time you decide whether or not to dump ethereum, the next altcoin has already gone up 70% and you either get in and make a tiny 10% profit or you get in an lose money because it is time for dump.

instead of staying stationary in one altcoin and hoping it continues going up more after it was pumped to the max, just sell, take your profit and invest in another altcoin and actually make more profit and come back to ether after it was dumped and price was at the bottom to make another big profit from 'next' pump.

I'm new to cryptocurrency but I realized this in my first few days of getting into it. So I chose to cash in on my 330% profit from ETH (which at first I wanted to put into cold storage) and will use it to find the next wave. You need to be nimble and catch the waves like a surfer. Don't expect one coin to take you to the top. Because every coin will have it's dump.

I will probably put BTC away in the cold storage (just because it has huge potential 10-20 years down the road) but then I'll do altcoins more like a daytrader. Buy low and sell high. Which platform do you recommend for that? I'm currently on Bittrex and like it so far. Or does it really matter?

No that's not going to happen it's not dash that people will actually dump it. Eth has proved that it has way more potential to be the next bitcoin or atleast be the best when compared with other altcoins. Plus it actually has features which can use it in their daily life.

dude everyone is only looking for profit and when you pump a coin from nearly $10 to nearly $50 then you should learn to take that as your Que to get out. if you want profit then buy at $10 and dump at $50 then move to the next coin that is being pumped for example from $0.5 to $1 and take that 100% profit instead of waiting around, risking on ETH so maybe they pump it or not.

this waiting will make you lose money.

i a see a constant dump on bittrex for the past few hours and buy walls that are being eaten into. the sell pressure is growing very strongly.
 500,000 ETH has been dumped in the past hours.

i am afraid the dump may have begun since bitcoin is now worth $1010 again

ETH and all the other altcoins will be dumped as the price of bitcoin goes above $1,000. Whales just use this an opportunity to sell their coins and wait to buy back cheaply afterwards.
The smart move now is to follow the whales and sell/short altcoins. You will be able to gain a lot in a few days.

LOL it caused by the bitcoin will not be replaced by the ethereum. Ethereum will get more dumo in the future. $70 for each is really over valued for the ethereum itself.

Ethereum is green already if we compare it with dollar ($50.60 (+0.74%) ). I think there is no good time to dump eth, because it really is a good currency. However, even if one thinks that eth is 'pump and dump' I think now is not the right time. The price is high but stable, whereas bitcoin is not very stable now and there still is a threat of hard fork as we remember. Maybe I just panicked but I sold all my btc today (didn't have much, though), because I don't want to end up with a lot smaller sum in USD after the fork.

When the bitcoin price starts to rise, it might drop against bitcoin. But in the long term, ETH will rise.

The dumps have begun and good because these stupid ass coins don't deserve the prices they was reaching. Especially when I'm out lol You are right about the pattern that emerges when btc price rises. You should stay pimping and keep that to yourself.
