I don't quite understand why people are selling below ICO price atm...

dev are selling the ICO tokens they sold to themselves? this could be a possibility.
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I'm sorry to hear that, I'm aware that there are lot of people in your very same situation. unfortunately that's what happens when you invest in a project without an escrow. also, the fact that they couldn't handle their servers during the ICO should have been a monumental red flag for all the investors, if they cannot deliver basic shit how do you think they can make a successful fog computing platform? this token will likely be worth 0.02 $ at most.

my best advice is to cut your losses before the real dip will begin
But the same could be applied to the beginning of Ethereum.
What will you say when SNM will be traded for $100 and rising?

Please do not dump your tokens. It will be precious. The journey of SONM is not started yet and you will regret later. It seems Pre ICO holders are cashing out their investment. As they got loads of SONM in Pre ICO sale , they are dumping their coins. Liqui is not a big exchange and SONM dev has announced that SONM will be in Bittrex. I will hold almost 70% of my SONM tokens and will go long. $2 is not a dream. I am optimistic in this case

SONM does not care for its own investors, how do you think this company is going to deliver anything they claim? They can't even process their ICO, let alone build complex protocols for fog computing. They couldn't deliver tokens, they are withholding my money for 2 weeks without any explanation, they don't reply emails as you can see in this topic. A company that got 42 millions and don't answer emails. Oh wait, to be fair they answered one email I sent. I asked about bonus and exchange rates and they replied giving me generic instructions to include my tokens in my ether wallet. What!?? I was not even talking about this in my email, they simply didn't read at all !!

How many times did you see any of the devs coming here? Did they release anything at all talking about the ICO problems? No, they paid some people in canada, or whatever, to be in slack and here just repeating the same thing over and over while they don't even care to their own community.

The excuse is:

"Sorry for the delays, still processing the refunds and bonuses. We need to do it manually, so it takes a lot of time. It already took much longer than we've expected, and still there is a lot of work to do. We are processing remaining preICO refunds and issuing tokens with bonuses to the ICO participants, this is the main priority right now"

Great, see? Now is taking more than expected, there is just too much work to do, etc.

If you ask these people to take care of your tortoise, they will probably let it escape -  "oh the tortoise was faster than we thought".

Just dump while you can.

Lol this same guy was trying to sell SONM before ico was over for near 40 cents USD ROFL.

I thought 40 cents was a great deal?!

Man all I know is I'm really glad I didn't put more into SONM.

First, bonuses are screwed and their email doesn't accept new ones, now we gotta see our tokens knowing had we waiting and trades properly we could be getting close to 2x the tokens we got in ICO!

I'm hodling because I have a strong gut but quit trying to say it's all preico investors dumping. If that was the case it wouldn't be dropping so rapidly just because bitcoin is dropping.

Lol, you kidding me right? Are you not following what is going on? SONM is failing its investors, SONM is failing the bounty campaign, go to their thread to see they also have problems and fraud accusations there. SONM token is being clearly manipulated in the exchanges, especially liqui. SONM had problems with employees who wanted to sue them. Man, it is only problems, problems, problems in everything.

Meanwhile they got 42 millions... yeah, but they cant answer a fucking email and give tokens quickly.

And here comes the hilarious part:

We are not part of the email support team so take this with a grain of salt.  There were 1000s of emails about bonus corrections.  Almost all of them were resolved within a few days.  Your email could have slipped through the cracks.  I would try to email them again.  Also if you would PM me the information about your issue I will see if I can get them to fix it.

So you're blaming those 1000s emails your support was not prepared to cope with, instead of blaming your BS system which were not able to compute the bonus correctly... Almost all of them were resolved within a few days? And still several others pending and awating for any reply for 10 days, with no ETA Roll Eyes
Then you suggest to PM you the info about the issue, that's precisely what I did on: June 18, 2017, 10:20:33 PM, and got this reply:

Quote
Hello from what I understand they are fixing the issue.  We are the community management team.  We are told to refer you to bonus@sonm.io.

I heard  one will be able to access their funds for about 2 days.  They said the reason is to fix the bonuses.

Again, what a joke of a ICO... It would be hilarious indeed, if it wasn't about our BTC/ETH Angry

Why don't they give the money back to people? Seriously, they gave thousands of more coins to pre-ico and said they would refund those unsatisfied. Nice, refund us.

I don't quite understand why people are selling below ICO price atm...

Because it's below ICO price, but it's not below pre-ICO price. It's actually quite a lot above it. Get it? It's highly unlikely that ICO participants are selling ATM, unless they've got a fetish for losing money.

people didn't  buy  at ico price? what is per icon price exactly? usually tokens are sold at certain price and when it the exchange the  price is always higher

the way they're treating the investors and keeping them in the dark about everything is really awful. and it's pretty crazy that with 42 million dollars they didn't even hire a team of english native speakers for their marketing and support, but I guess that they needed all the money to invest into lambos so that they can run away faster from the mob of angry token holders  Grin

2 Sonm_Community, take a look at my message plz, mb it will be any help from your side??

2 all they even didn't try to help me, it's very disappointing  Sad

I do apologize but we are not able to retrieve your tokens. They are on the exchange wallets you deposited from. You will need to contact their support, they may be able to recover them for you.

@Sonm_Community So, we've been waiting for almost 2 weeks for our bonus, I sent an email to bonus@sonm.io and still no reply, no feedback whatever...
Oh yes, you have to do it "manually", for whatever reason... How can it take so long to do some 4th grade math?? And you're supposed to build the world supercomputer??

Your ICO is a joke if not a scam! I regret giving my ETH to such a bunch of incompetent kids Angry

Part of me thinks this was obviously inevitable in this bubble, the other part has to ask as well, if these guys aim to be fog computing masters why can't they handle other things...

I understand it's apples to oranges but they're both fruit and a true expert in fruit trees could instinctively handle either apple or orange....

Yes, but you should check what a pre-ICO is. Many companies hold a pre-ICO which preceeds their ICO with a few months. There they collect some initial funds to start off their work, but it's usually much less than what they gather on the main ICO itself.

SONM had a pre-ICO in april I think, and every participant got I think a X2 multiplier on SNM per ETH compared to regular ICO participants. You can see them crying some pages back because they wanted a X4 multiplier instead and maybe they got it eventually, not sure. To add to that ETH was $50 back then.

Maybe is your duty as an investor to see what you did. Take responsibility for ur actions. Voila.

That's true, I regret not having done more due diligence. I wish I could get my money back.

Is Sonm actually being traded. On coinmarketcap it says "prelaunch". What does that mean? I thought these were some kind of future tokens? For example aeternity also says "prelaunch" but those tokens have not been released yet but are still being traded?
