If were soo easy as you think Nakamoto would had already created more bitcoins, the code hasnt been build to create more coins, its 21 milion supply, and the process is already set to have halvings. Nope, that is not possible.

The beauty of bitcoin is that the production of coins is completely decentralised, and that means that Satoshi or anyone else can't just wake up one day and be like hmmm i feel like generating coins today, lets go to the coins generator and get a few billion coins.

In fact, this is exactly what governments do to hold a tight grip over the economy.

And there is no way right now that satoshi is richer than Bill Gates, because the market cap is only $17 billion in total. Even if he had all the bitcoins in circulation he won't have enough to exceed Gates' 70 billion net worth.

No, Satoshi died in 2013 2014. I covered it in my big hacks, puppets post. Generous genius who never offloaded all those big initial chunks of bitcoin...and no one ever will. Which is all good for the bitcoin network and for all bitcoin holders.

I don't think so, Bill Gates will remain as the richest man on Earth and I don't think Satoshi is able to surpass him. Sats maybe holding 1 million supply of bitcoin but still that isn't enough compare to the total net worth, assets and everything that Bill Gates now. And Satoshi is definitely a rich guy already and just enjoying the world around us.

As to me, this is a meaningless assumption. To get cash, he would have to sell his 1M bitcoins, right? But do you know how much cash he would get as a result of selling off his stash, i.e. what would be the average price of a bitcoin sold by him? We don't know that, but it should be crystal clear that he wouldn't get even 1,000 dollars per coin on average. Dumping that many coins would likely crash the price to lower hundreds (if not below). Nevertheless, let's assume that he got 500M dollars in cash (and this is in fact a very optimistic assessment). Do you you really think that any of the three dudes you mentioned couldn't get times more instantly by selling part of their stocks? Just in case, I know what you are going to say, so think twice before saying that

What a stupid question. If some anonymous guy kept making some anonymous coin that no one used but him it would be 100% useless and worthless. Even if he owned a huge portion it would be a clusterfuck waiting to happen.

Should he be richer....? I mean ya the Blockchain was a lot of work, but was it something that took satoshi their whole career? We'll never really know, but I don't think so. Bill Gates earned his billions over years and years. He got lucky in a lot of ways but also he was smart in a lot of other ways.
