Two questions to experiences Minex'ers:
1. what is the cheapest way to get my hand on Minex at the moment?
2. why the spike and massive drop in late Nov / early Dec?

1..No cheap way to get Minex as only 2 exchanges. The price is the price. Cheapest is buy now and park and get 16% interest in 1 month, and repeat monthly or weekly based on parking rate. I have almost doubled stake in MNX with parking since listed Nov 1. Also can do mining, maybe get cheaper that way. Look at previous posts about several mining pools. 2. This was a pump but now it will rise steadily as becomes more popular. Read the white paper for the whole project I think I'll buy with ETH rather than USD. I guess will have to bite the bullet and in a month will be up 16%. Well done on getting in on 1st Nov! |

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I think it will be hard to get new holders due that Bitconnect is fall. People do not trust such projects, but still invest to masternodes.. it is quite strange things, but huge annual rate just for deposit, holding etc looking suspicious... Here's my comparison from Bitconnect and Minexcoin. Minexcoin : 1. Offers interest rate named "Parking". Parking is a reward for holding your Minexcoin. This is also how Staking coins function but the Interest rate is changing depending on market situation(Ex. Price up, interest rate down, Price down, Interest rate up) making sure that you'll still get the value you've been expecting for a certain period of time. 2. You can buy it on exchanges(Livecoin,coinexchange) that came from the people who hold MNX. 3. Doesn't need to refer someone to buy MNX. Only word of mouth can convince people into holding MNX. 4. Minexsystems only develops the technology to expand the use-cases of MNX . 6. Minexcoin has been around here for more than a year and continue developing what they promised in their roadmap. 1st answer to your question : Difficulty is changing every 980 blocks(from what i know). So it is adjusted on every 980 blocks depending on the current network hashrate. 2nd answer to your question : 10 days ago, BTC was around 14k level. Now it's on 11k level. Every BTC price drop results into domino effect for all other coins out there. You can expect minexcoin price to be around $20 dollar level so that is normal. |

Difficulty is related to block time, not price => More miners, higher difficulty to keep a constant block time generation. |

Because the price was at 29, people rush to mine MNX increasing hashrate and difficulty to 2.03 and then they cash out to pay bills and push the price to 23.5. Is the explanation good enough? |

33% doesn't seems to low volability to me. Maybe is something that i missed.
Anyway i don't give any chance to a project that's main competitor is bitcoin.
When you don't bring nothing new to the table , just another payment coin you automatically have a huge competition.
