A question about the wallet:
Is it a full node wallet or a light wallet? (Hope it is a light wallet that my low-end computer can handle well. I particularly dislike the weeks of synching it takes for BTC wallets way back when I started in crypto before ETH)
It is full node wallet. But it takes only 474 Mb of HDD memory. It is not so much even for old computers

Currently AS is in testnet only. So you have to use testnet addresses/keys anyway. When it goes mainnet: 1) Create a hot wallet for AS 2) Use virtual machines to connect to internet. Qubes OS is great for this. It needs a bit of learning at first but i think most can manage.
Agree, the separate hot wallet  intended exclusively for  atomic swap is a good option. Probably I will create it for the future use.

Core wallet at the official site needs to download all block chains like Bitcoin Core.

You can use the raquemis Electrum Minexcoin Wallet. This is light wallet.

MinexCoin is not a "moon" coin. However even "moon" coins can't be sure about when they are "to the moon" because crypto market is unpredictable as well as usual stocks  Smiley Cool

I am watching Minexcoin for many days although didn't read enough about the concept yet. What makes this coin so strong to be able to maintain its value at decent level in a time when all markets are shaking ? This is sure artificially price can't be sustained for this long and all the gain is real and durable but still don't understand where the value comes from ?

Minexcoin have Minexbank which do passive price control by changing parking percents. Plus MNX team do very important software releases like Atomic Swap and GUI to that swap. Plus community and devs are expecting release of wallet 2.0 and credit cards in not far future. And own decentralized exchange is coming soon as well. So it's one of the main points where the value coming from.

We are in the phase of moon eclipse now. The longer it lasts the happier we'll all be when it is over. Therefore buy more and enjoy parking.
