Phil did mention sometime a month or so ago seeing if I could build some of those bridges. Probably wouldn't take much, really, if I had one to pattern. I reckon we should see if they work on this new hub first.
it is shipped and on the way.
once I review and test .
I will send a working bridge to you.
the bridges allowed for a 400 freq on a single stick with a strong fan.
the bridge allows for 275 freq on the 2 pac using the silver .9 amp hub.
So if you build one from the prototype it will need better traces but it should work.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KPOEX9O/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1I ordered that unit seems cheaper then the one you ordered.
buy it and test it.
I would but I purchased mine from a seller I have done business with,
the one you mention could be better or not. It also will take at least a month to arrive.
the more expensive 169 dollar 5v 40amp one come may 3 to may 19
I took a good look at it on amazon since I did own the model in 2012 it was of the usb 2.0 style and used an external brick.
I short it but it was my fault not the hub.
the psu in the better model you linked is this one
https://www.trcelectronics.com/ecomm/pdf/lrs200.pdfthe lrs-5 it is an efficient psu close to 87% if you feed it 240 volts it could be a good hub
it does use 2 usb 3.0 cables
and you can jack the psu from 5 volts to 5.5 which helps if you are running a lot of sticks.
if maybe a nice unit.
maybe I will review it after I do Klintay's stud hub.
