It's often discussed here that you can't make any money from gambling, but in general it's just not true. House edge is usually quite low so the most of the money go back to players. Of course some one wins more than he bet, some one wins less and loses in the end. It's all about luck. I am sure that the most of you was lucky at least once and made some nice money. So my question goes here: How did you spend this money? Did you buy some presents for your close ones? Did you buy something for you? Did you invested it, saved it or even put back into gambling (and then made even more or lost it?)?

I do win one time in a gambling site but it is not that big, as you've said I've won less than my bet. I did nothing about it really, I just saved those coins in the site's wallet for awhile and made my withdraw after a month. Luckily that's where the tension of the hardfork is happening so I didn't use that coins at all.

If ever I won in gambling I would buy something that depends on the winnings I got. If I win big,I will buy a house and lot but if it's not I will just put up a small business. A business that has small capital but has a big profit. I wish it would happen so soon.

The first thing that I bought when I won was bags and some shoes and it was one of the best and coolest thing that happened as it was the first time that I bought something and it made me realize that this could turn into something profittable as long as I use it right.

The first thing that I bought when I won was bags and some shoes and it was one of the best and coolest thing that happened as it was the first time that I bought something and it made me realize that this could turn into something profittable as long as I use it right.

Unless you are talking about poker or other games like that then you just got lucky it is impossible to make a living of games where only luck counts since the house has given itself an edge that is impossible to overcome, it is better to dedicate your efforts and time to something else.

The mere fact that we are losing most of the time then that would only mean for gamblers that we should come back again.
However, coming back for a revenge is a wrong action, we should let go our loses and enjoy the current situation, it's good to be back because we are looking for the fun rather than taking revenge which most likely we will only fail.

Logically, this should be the mindset, however, for those who are really addicted to gambler, they will take it personally and will desperately "try" to recoup the losses they made. However, we all know for a fact, that it seldom happened for us to recover what we have lose, but instead we lose more. Then vicious cycle begins, you win some, you lose more.

I am damn sure if gambling was done by trash rather than money, things would have been better. Most of the time, it is the greed and false hope of recovering from the damage that keep on pushing gamblers to try again and again. But the sad fact is it rarely happens. With the passage of time, it becomes difficult to shake off this bad flu.

Gambling with trash! Never heard of it! You have a good sense of humor my friend! Other than greed, gamblers get addiction and that is a bad news. They also have zero control over their desperation. Losses ignite their grief even further. I do not know whether they recover or not but in the process, they destroy their health.

I think it is important that you quit gambling as soon as possible, the fact that you cannot just help yourself should be a red flag, you need to be the one in control of your gambling if you are not then no one is, and gambling could consume all your wealth, look for professional help and get support from your family.

I wouldn't mind spending my winnings on leisure since i probably didn't work for it. Though i agree with what you said, in order for me to do this, i have to win which most of the time isn't happening. It put things under a different perspective. Winning after several losing woes would pretty much puts importance on the price like you've worked hard for it.

10k are really not a low amount , but yes when you allocate it into something that more productive like building a mining hardware it was a very good way to spend your money . i have done that several times , got 1 btc when the price still around $1,500 and build a mining rig.

so far so good , it is eben covered the price of bitcoin that increased more than 100% since i won it .
