Hi guys!
It's often discussed here that you can't make any money from gambling, but in general it's just not true. House edge is usually quite low so the most of the money go back to players. Of course some one wins more than he bet, some one wins less and loses in the end. It's all about luck. I am sure that the most of you was lucky at least once and made some nice money. So my question goes here: How did you spend this money? Did you buy some presents for your close ones? Did you buy something for you? Did you invested it, saved it or even put back into gambling (and then made even more or lost it?)?

As far as I can remember when I won a large amount, I added it to my trading capital because I am just starting to study trading during that time so I need a trading capital and luckily, I was able to win a large amount. Since I won that trading capital from gambling, I also did treat trading as gambling and not having a trading plan so I end up losing more than half of my account from it. I learned my lesson so I then study trading more seriously and determined more than ever to make it as my main source of income.

Well, if I won the first thing I buy is house and lot because if I have a beautiful dress, nice car and nice shoes without house it is so shameful for me. Then secondly, I will invest in btc some part of my money for me to profit more. Thirdly, I will put some to a business for me to have income every, weekly and monthly. After I do all of that then I will buy my wants such as car, dress, clothes and shoes.

If i won money, my first priority is to buy my important needs such as foods and clothes, most especially i will use money for paying bills. The most important for our money if we won is to invest because this is the best what we can do to our money we can earn profit. I will buy some property and savings. I would save my money won, and for the future of my family and children.

After I won 0.17 BTC in a poker tournament this summer, which was the biggest win my life btw, I spent half of it on taking my wife to different nice restaurants. It was a great time. I have never won nothing even close to that amount, neither before nor after, because in a tournament like that there's a huge buy-in and I don't do that, I don't play with money I can't afford to lose. The ticket was given me for free, that's why I had that opportunity.

It's nice to see our fellow gamblers can buy something in real life using the winning money, i hope i can do that someday. Because i never can buy that in real life, i always greedy when it comes into gambling even when i win, i will gamble more to get more winnings.

Then change your routine for you to be able to win or to have something in return, because if you are going to be greedy as always, then you wouldn't experience buying something or having profits in gambling. The technique is to quit after you've won enough, because after that, you are just going to lose in a row since the house won't allow you to win always.
Exactly the greed after one win is so harmful that it eats all your wins in just a game. Many people have been victimized over it as they found to be getting into huge game after one win as they think they have got much for now. Be patient and you said it right, just quit when you have won once.

If you consider gambling as an income source and want to earn through gambling then I will suggest you dropping the idea. It is also not a wise act to become a greedy person. It actually increases the chances of becoming a poor. Gambling is so random and non reliable.

There are times where I win whenever I gamble. Those times are rare yet if I hit the jackpot, I don't take my chances with it anymore. I just take my winnings and buy stuff. Last time I won was on some esports matches and I immediately took my winnings out and treat my friends to a nice dinner and some beer. I kept some of those winnings in my savings.

Whenever I win, I treat my self and buy something that would make me happy. I use my winnings similar with the money I earn from my hard work. I think your winnings and all of your  earnings aren't different. So, I don't have any specific things that I buy with my winning from gambling.

For me if I will win a good amount of money then the first items that i'm planning to purchase are some groceries and household items. Of course I would focus first on the things that I use everyday. Then next will be clothes and other personal items. And im also planning to buy some items as well to give to the orphanage that we are also supporting now. And if I really hit a jackpot then comes the big items like cars, a house or a condo maybe. There iss just a lot I could buy with a lot of money.

Very well said.I dont know why some people do suggest gambling knowing that this thing is really dangerous because we do know this game will potentially lose up your money. In those times we do won on it then better to secure it already rather than on deciding to play it again on gambling site. For sure those winnings would really be lose up again or take it back to the house for sure.Dont let your greed control you.

I'm very convinced that the money i win through betting won't be of a great use to my normal life activities or is made to pay bills/buy food/buy clothes with . So i mainly gamble with my profits or go to parties/bars and mainly spend it on pleasure activities that consists of alcohol Cheesy .

I bought two graphic cards, two RX 570 4GB mini for 500 dollars both. I bought them used and all the money I won from winning an accumulator bet with odds of 53.7 . I still have those cards ,one I put in my gaming PC and the other I put together with two other graphic cards in what I try to call a mining pc but mining with graphics I think is dead now, 0.0005 bitcoin with three cards in a day.

If you won some prize and if that is money the best way to buy the day today needs of your life and your family members.
If some amount is extra from all that the best thing is to invest that amount in a business or gambling or bank deposit etc.

I often hear a word of wisdom like you, but in the gambling world it's hard to be like that.I've done it save my winning results and capital to play I don't save, the next day I play back and win with the same winning. In 7 days I did a similar thing but did not run smoothly,I lost control and lost continually until finally I deposit for the last time hoping to win and restore my lose but they all vanished there is a sense of curiosity.

You mean you got profit from trading investments or from gambling? Because as per me gambling is not an investment but you need to spend money on these games to play and you can win only if you're lucky for that I will not call it as an investment. My most of the gambling earning are from sports betting and all those profits I have invested in altcoins so far.

I do have the same feeling about usage of money that has been won via gambling.
I have actually no specific plans to fulfill or invest money into some really serious business. I usually opt for having fun and spending it on pity things just as throwing a Saturday part or something casual enough to make me happy.

I have won huge amounts only a few times in my life, and the one I am currently having memory of is the one I won on bustabit, it was quiet fun and also tense too. I play with different strategies and at that particular time I was using fibonacci sequence, so I was big in start and suddenly I was in losing streaks of under 2x so I kept on doubling the initial amount and I was draining my bankroll for chasing a single win and then I reached at my last bet possible of 1btc and then I won that game at 3x so that made me 1 btc rich. Then I brought an iPhone and a ps4 with the money won and rest I kept in my savings wallet.

It would really be hard to be like this on the thing which i have said.Securing your money not to play gambling on those funds is nearly impossible because once you know that you do have still some money on your pocket to play gambling you would definitely go back into another day and play with those funds and wont stop until you do lose it all.

Atleast you did't loose all the same day and ifor me particularly if i see the losing streak is getting too long i will just rest on it and wouldn't gamble  for a while. not everyone is disciplined enough to quit at the early stages of losing though and for such they can go ahead to loose everything.
