It seems windows 10 installations sometimes have 16.6 as default and just sticking with that works fine.

Also I voted 16.9.1 although  I use 16.9.2 if the default win10 driver doesn't support modded bios

The only one I can get to work with my modded bios is the one dated 11/23/16. I think it is 16.11.5

Great Info.

The reason I was asking because I saw the Claymore ZCash Miner info below. This is why I was trying to update to 16.12.2. After reading all the posts I think I'm going to try 16.9.2.

Anyone who is running 16.9.2 can you post your rates for Claymore ZCash?

Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner.
=========================

Latest version v12.4:

Catalyst (Crimson) 15.12 is required for best performance and compatibility.
15.12 does not support some Fiji cards, use 16.3.2 for them.
For 4xx cards (Polaris) Crimson 16.12.2 is recommended.

NOTE: For best performance on Fiji cards you must use 15.12 or 16.3.2 drivers. For newest drivers speed will be slower!
You can get bad results for non-recommended drivers, or miner can fail on startup.
Set the following environment variables, especially if you have 1-2GB cards:

I just Went from 16.11.5 to 16.9.2

No issues so far. I was crashing in Claymore 12.4. I'll run these for a couple days and check stats.

Crimson ReLive Edition 17.4.1 Optional just came out to day i all ways use beta drivers unless they have some thing wrong when i install them then I use whatever i was using. ..


and using the RTM version of windows 10 creator , i love it , it is really  stable and due out live Tuesday. and a shit ton of stuff was fixed that took them years to finally fix, i was impressed.

to be honest never see a difference in speeds between driver version mining unless there is some thing wrong with the drivers i am using and I'll know it right a way ...

So you are using 17.4.1?

Do you have a modded bios?

What miners are you using?

Does WattTool work?
