True, although mining is somewhat centralised it's still free from control. You can send money anonymously halfway around the world for free in the blink of an eye.
Most people never actually claimed it was free, there was always a miner's fee. This has been growing significantly as Bitcoin is supposed to, but arguably the fee market has gone too far due to the need for more transactions. It is pretty fast if you pay a high fee (so not fully true). You can use BitCoins to pay for your online shopping, you can withdraw them from a cash machine, you can even buy a car with BitCoins! More and more companies decide to make BitCoins a fully acceptable form of payment. "
Also was never the case - you could use it for these things but most major retailers are yet to accept it. To be fair, it is true that the numbers were increasing more around 2013 (now Fiverr, for example, has stopped) so this is perhaps less true, but possible. |

Some features are still true, Bitcoin not controlled by anyone and its transaction cannot be tracked and we cannot track the users behind any transaction with any means, so it is mainly used by gambling and adult users. other then that now a days lot of users are getting online income through Bitcoin by doing skill work and other means of tasks.

I would say that literally any features that were "true" of Bitcoin since it began are still true to Bitcoin today, all we experience in a different way is the volume Bitcoin moves at and the vibrant community that adds on things occasionally. Beyond that, I don't think anything significant has been taken away from Bitcoin.

Of course the reason why we still in this is that bitcoins features and characteristics is true.
-Decentralize
This is one of the most important feature of Bitcoin. The freedom it gives is enough reason why people choose it.
-Security
When talking about private treasure and belongings, we always seek for the security it gives because we don't want to lost what we hard earned for years.
-Travel
Because of being a digital currency, being digital means travelling through the spectrum space which has the same speed as light. Transactions are just a few clicks and it's there.

I don't know why are you asking such thing if you already know the answer, I mean you are a Full Member, and I know that obviously it is not the first time you heard about bitcoin and you earning bitcoins. So, until now, bitcoin is still decentralized like the way it is before, and it is not going to change, because it was programmed to be like this for a lifetime. And that is what we like the most about bitcoin, because the corrupt government officials can't steal or touch it, that is why maybe the reason why they rejected the bitcoin ETF, well who cares, bitcoin is still going to go to the moon without their supports. |

Bitcoin holds many of its features. Like anonymity and decentralisation. One thing that I like about Bitcoins is that all transactions are transparent in the ledger, i.e. any transaction made by Bitcoin is recorded for all to see. You may not know the identity behind the transaction, but the transaction detail in itself is recorded for all to verify and view.

Yep most of the features stated are true. It is still decentralized, still the most popular among all other coins. It is not controlled by the government so no is controlling them. And yes you can send money around the world for free for some wallets of course. In our country we don't have the cash machine to withdraw them but you can claim them at certain banks and money transfers affiliated with the wallet you have and my partner told me that his friend is buying a 2nd hand car from profiting bitcoins. |

On closely analysis the statement i found few mistakes. First Bitcoin can be send in the whole world ;and not just the half way of the world. and it dont take a blink of an eye for the receiver to receive.It may tale 20 to 30 mins to be confirmed. Second bitcoin cannot be withdraw directly from cash machine. Cash machine will convert the coins into fiat and give you the relevant local currency as bitcoins are virtual (not touchable). |

-bitcoin can be send to any part of the universe without the permission of anyone.
I would put "bitcoin is not controlled by anyone" under the question sign. Bitcoin's control is that thing that can bring a lot of money and many organisations are already trying to make bitcoin controlled. Even in the case if government will block bitcoin it also will be some for of control. But I hope bitcoin will stay free as it is now. |

From the way I see it and based on my own evaluation, I still believe the characteristics still holds still even though there are arguments in other quarters against it especially the anonymity aspect. A lot has been changed when it comes to bitcoin, throughout the time the use and the ideas that we had when the bitcoin started have been filliped, take for instance the idea of bitcoin becoming a currency that people use on internet payments, that is the idea that the developers had for bitcoin in the first place. But then people started treating it like gold buying it and saving it, and that made it a way for investment therefor it is no longer a currency, the only thing that is still there when it comes to bitcoin’s feature is decentralization. |

It still lets you, and only you, have control of your BTC, when you have a secure wallet. This is an excellent feature, that won't be gone in the near future. As an online currency, it also allows you carry money almost everywhere (you just need internet connection and a few hours)

It's not right that bitcoin isn't controlled by anybody. Just one example: We pay bitcoin network fees to get transaction confirmed. Miners confirm transactions and get fee. If there would be no miners who confirm transaction, what we would do? So, we can't say that bitcoin isn't controlled by anyone. We can't send bitcoins for free, we have to pay fees which have increased in recent years. Theorical, we can send bitcoins for free, but it will take ages to get transaction confirmations. Other statements is right more or less. |

Bitcoin is still decentralized with no central control and that still holds true today. It's a global usage is still possible and access to your funds 24/7 is still possible so I can conclude that there aren't much of a change but a few challenges.

all of bitcoin features are still true and none of them have changed.
- it is still decentralized
- secure
- cheap
- not anonymous but keeps your privacy to some extent.
- and you can still use it for payment even more so than before since there are much more places that accept bitcoin.
I agree with you, bitcoin didnt lose any of its features through years, the only really significant change is raise of transaction fees, which went up a lot: but bitcoin is not a tool for sending 1-2$ but more. I think we might call bitcoin an anonymous currency, the reason of this is that we dont have any kind of colleration between the wallet address and the user identity. You can track bitcoins, but if you stay cautious and do everything alright, nobody will get your sensitive data, such as name,surname, place of birth, address, etc. |

It is the sending for free thing that is not true anymore.
They made a fee for that and it grew more since the event of heavy traffic from transaction that are made.
It is not bitcoin fault though. It is US the users.
Spam transactions which didn't stop made the miners work harder and maybe it gets to their nerve and wants more payment for the effort.
3 bitcoin wallets that I have bitcoin accounts all suddenly went high when it comes to sending transaction. So you can cross that out.

No one is able to freeze or to take away your capital - Correct, as long as you save your bitcoin in secure ways. Neglected %51 attack here.
You can send money for free in the blink of an eye. - Not true, nowadays, unfortunately. It could take several hours very commonly.
You can even buy a car with BitCoins - Correct, you can cash it out to buy a car, or find a car deliver that accepts bitcoin. Possible in USA.
