This is probably not new gambling site, but what i admired the most and liked about this site its because they offer a unique style of gambling which is PvP, the mechanics of the game is well explained and understandable which also makes it simple and more competitive.

This is the main problem of the low populated PvP games, the matchmaking is not working, because there is simply no one to play against.
I can't remember if I have seen a successful gambling service with only pvp games which remained popular, most of them seem to come and go very fast.
If I may suggest something - adding some 'vs. house games' should help to kill time and mitigate problem, also adding faucet to the site wouldn't be bad idea.

Probably you only play against others who claimed the free $1 once they lose the free $1 then cant play anymore, thats why you cant find other players. It is the weakness of pvp based game..you should wait for other players in order to play.

If the site does have less player then expected those pvp duels wont be a hit because no one would able to duel against players and that's a major problem among newly built website but if its placed on an old reputable site then it might a hit and profitable just like on Bitdouble.io they do have coin flip duel (player vs. player) its still new but there are lots of player do play. Adding vs. house should be always there just like other common gambling sites.
