Hmm. You got a point. The poster that you quoted the message from, maybe trying to say that he/she will be there at some point  to whatever certain amount of balance he/she got, to be available to a user who wants to try the game. I also would like to try if you may OP.

as not much players in the game now, I think it is better to have less lobby to group players up.
Maybe like just USD 1, 5, and 10.

upon finding a match, the balance is updated ahead of  it, the player can easily tell if he/she has won or lost that round because just right accepting/starting the round the balance updates  rightaway even if roll isnt done yet.

The idea seems to be great with the pvp betting and gambling on random but the execution seems to be not working. The coder who did this or the business guy who requested the coder to do this has obviously forgotten some stuff.

I hope it will add the features that we like so we can give it a try but provably fair is something we all look for before we gamble.

It might be true that they have more than 1500 registered players,  but the main problem is how many of them are real players? It is just a part of advertising strategy to attract new players but it is a failed advertisement IMO. 
This strategy was used by old owner but did not give any effects for the site and now the new owner use the same advertising strategy?  This makes me doubt that this OP is new owner.  Proove me wrong!

(not saying that there are any or the site is doing that) there is no way for you to verify the roll outcome,there is no way to check your opponent is
a legit punter,the play process is just two dice rolling -very confusing
no way to check how many people in your lobby are ready to play
sadly this game needs much improvement to become a legit betting site,first of all -provably fair tab
without it you will struggle to get any players other than the gang of free 1$ lovers
