I believe that It has something to do with the alts at the moment. The thing is that exchange have ALT/BTC tickers so in order for them to get the alt they are looking for, they should buy bitcoin first and that creates a a high demand and result in a price increase.

obvoiusly $1500 is now break in others exchange then OP need to edit the title hahaha. Anyways i 'm hoping that this month would reach $1600 to $1700 or more. Did you ser the fast pump of Bitcoin as of in May 1 bitcoin price stabled in $1300. But now bitcoin price pump more.

My experience is that if you are not a full time trader make sure to avoid taking profit and just like many others, enjoy the ride.
Daytraders will make money of this volatility but for the average joe that is very hard to do.

How do you suggest to book profits in a bull market when it is hard to get a chance to re enter when you off load your coins,it is really difficult for me to do that and if really think that you could do that i would like to learn that from you,with the run we are having we could reach $1700 before a correction but it all depends upon how the price will face the resistance at $1500.

This not the moment to day trade, in my opinion this is the moment to just hold, sit and enjoy your free earning thanks to bitcoin, since we don’t know when the bull market is going to stop and eventually reverse, the best thing to do is to hold as long as possible and then sell.

Bitcoin price increase so fast these days due to ETF speculation and bitcoin being regulated I think.
I remember it has reach $1550 yesterday and slowly dropped back after that, so Op need to update his thread goal to $1600.
But, it will be reach that price in this week I guess as significant increases happen daily due to huge cash flow into bitcoin every day.

Currently the bitcoin price is in the middle between the $ 1500 and $ 1600 prices. Well, it's not impossible for bitcoin to red the price of $ 1600 in the near future. The current bitcoin price increase is very difficult to predict. So, maybe it will happen in the near future.

I don't think that there is for the moment a precise exchange that can give you an accurate price
Before i was looking in bitfinex then gdax then Bitstamp to take an idea. Back then the prices wasn't too far from each other but now the difference gap can be $100.
Just estimate the average price between the different exchanges
Personally I use GDAX and Bitstamp

But if that was the case don’t you think the price will just stay the same, after all if someone is buying bitcoin to just buy alts, then the effect on the market will not be much because they are dumping their bitcoin immediately, I think that japan may have something to do with it.

Its unbelievable how things are really happening so fast for bitcoin, i remember those times when it was basically a +/-10 difference now its gone 5 fold and over. You do not know what you might wake up to , i guess you might be right with just holding back then seat back & relax because this show is not yet over.

Well for now the present price is $1660 value that i think we will experience more price increase this year.. because of the fast movement of the price of bitcoin this is different movement from the past few years i feel that this one is really different movement. hoping that we can touch the next goal of $1700 in few months. since bitcoin legalized in japan more investors will come..

Last year there were forecasts that $ 2,000 would be available as early as the end of 2017, but given this growth trend, I can assume that $ 2,000 will be really this summer, and by the end of the year much more.

We've been in ATH territory for a few weeks now if I'm not mistaken. 1800 is imminent and 2000 is near. It's incredible how high we can go and how much you make when you just HODL. 2000 is where we will likely test our first major resistance, and even if we do fall down there I would be plenty satisfied with the price.

Well we get touch now $1,800 and bitcoin price still rising and rising. Hopefully soon or hopefully this week we can achieved $2000 i'm waiting for it to see. But as of now bitcoin price is just stabled in $1,800 and as of now were on alts party. The we just need to wait until $1800 achieved.

I see that there's so many goodnews that incoming in bitcoin that can reflect of its price to pump
