Sure, just wondering if the split the difference will effect the value. For example 0.4-0.31=0.09
0.045 split both ways, would it be considered at 0.355 BTC? If and when blazed is packaging the mystery box?

It's not about the value difference, its because that would make the mystery box contain more mysteries

half the difference would go to blazed...so presumably he'd raise the the value to 0.355 and up in increments of .025

if he doesn't accept the additional auction on the technicality then I'll collect the box on it.

Yes! I only found this thread now, and although I got distracted reading the Reviews on Amazon about the 55 gallon lube, I was still hoping to find out what's in the mystery box.
Although the mystery is gone when you reveal it. It could have been Schrödinger's box for you too, if you wouldn't have opened it.
