Most coins are just pump and dump then disappeared on there.

Same.

Thanks again, the coins that pump within the YoBit Exchange are usually the ones that have a Wallet Maintenance issue going on in the system. The whole thing is kind of rigged but if you have the right coin you can't complain right? lol

the correct place is in the exchanges subboard in the services discussion main board.

maintenance on Yobit in 99.9% of the cases means they are not running the wallet at all. because it is taking up space and costs server resources. so don't even keep your hopes up for them coming back because they never will.

also other coins wallets being online in that exchange doesn't mean anything.
I don't think you are going to encounter any problem with your deposits (cant be sure though) but you will surely encounter a lot of trouble if you want to withdraw anything apart from bitcoin or a couple of other top coins.

Their wallets are all empty, you submit a withdrawal of some altcoin with its wallet online and the site tells you it is going to pay from cold storage, then the funds will be blocked in a non-cancelable withdrawal request for about a week before it is canceled and back to your account.

in short stop using that terrible exchange service.

but coins that go to yobit while the wallet is in maintanance, aren't lost on my experience they are just delayed after you deposit, you need to wait for them to fix the wallet, and they get your coins credited after that, at least this what happened to me with veltor last time, but if they are delisting maybe it's better to avoid deposit

Nevertheless, that's terrible if suddenly the coins delisted. There's no notification about which coins will be delisting, isn't?

Besides that, the platform running very slow and even lag.

It is really up to the developers of those coins to contact Yobit and ask them what the problem is, and offer to help. If the developers can't be bothered, then the conclusion is that teh coin is dead.

That is why I'd never use yobit wallet as a place to store all my altcoins. Better install them on my PC or use their web wallet. It's a weird when I see so many complain about yobit but peoples never stop using it. You can see the big fees they take in any transactions, and the crazy pumping, and many others weird things that happen in yobit. And the important thing is their website is not mobile friendly. Lol

yeah, I wholeheartly agree.
I notice they are over valuing most of their alt coins they are selling and not with what the other exchanges are having them offered for.

You do not ever store your coins on an aexchange wallet even if they are all coins.
You only use it to trade your bitcoin for those altcoin then move them to an offsite wallet.

i have seen this before and indeed this is could be serious problem because if there is a users have a lot of the particular altcoins and the wallet maintenance which mean they cannot withdraw those altcoins and i wish yobit will considering provide notifications before the wallet maintenance to their users

Yobit wallets that go into maintenance are due to:
1) dead chain (no miners)
2) broken chain
3) lack of interest as it then is not profitable to run a daemon

Wallets go into maintenance when there is a delay in the blockchain. If the chain starts to move again within a short space of a few hours, the chain will automatically go out of maintenance. If the delay is extended, the maintenance will become permanent and will only be brought out of maintenance based on a support ticket.

There are one or more bots on Yobit that pumps coins that are in maintenance. The trader chooses these coins as it is then not possible to quickly deposit coins to sell into the pump. Only those with coins already on the exchange with these coins can take advantage of the pump.

There are lots of things a community member/dev can do to prevent a coin going into maintenance. It is almost a dedicated job to do chain management and analytics for a coin, but it is important as a healthy chain will prevent a coin going into maintenance. It is always better to prevent than to cure.

None of the above is sinister though and looks to be part of a normal business model.

Or Yobit is functioning as a fractional reserve and selling those altcoins for BTC & LTC ,

Then placing those coins in maintenance where they never have to worry about pay out.  Tongue

 Cool

FYI:
The Majority of those coins in maintenance have active communities and working coin networks.
If Yobit is not going to have a working wallet, but just list everything in maintence for years , they be doing everyone a favor by going thru and delisting any coin , they are not going to support. Until they do, they are just a scam site.  Tongue

I won't be surprised if there is something truthful in this presentation, i won't forget LISK trading without real LISK. Everything was clear to me. I don't like their game if they don't won't coins or their chains are dead, that doesn't mean thay have right to fork it on their own.

This is not only one bad thing that can happen to you. If you are careless you can send your funds coins from wallet to their which is in maintenance or on different fork then you can join Club. All this is even worse if you are miner, wasted time and wasted electricity. I'm on C CEX for now, i didn't notice they have problems with chains..
