i think the best is to transact with cash,internet should not be a problem in transacting business.

The problem is there is not enough cash, if the internet failed just for a few days there will be chaos since you could not buy groceries or anything probably we will have to do some barter since there will not be enough cash for most people to satisfy their daily needs.

Funny, if you do not have enough money maintain your daily then pass the mailers to the any organization they may help you. I think in future we do not need to spare more money on internet as the world moving the IT globalization.
However, with the help of internet only bitcoin getting transacted and we are network fee for miners to help it transacted.

I was not talking in the general sense but in the case of a crisis since most of the money is now in electronic form so most people don’t hold any kind of cash anymore, especially in first world countries, so it is unlikely that in the case of a small crisis they will have enough money to satisfy their needs, this happens in small scale every time there is an earthquake or a hurricane, now imagine that in a global scale.

That is why i think that any idea of replacement the fiat by digital systems and payments through web is not a good idea.
There is always a chance that the network is going to be paralyzed because of some reason, hackers attack,DDoS or just really huge traffic, and that is the reason why we should rely only on the web and online systems.

We always should have some kind of emergency, because we cannot predict every event that will occur, thus it is not wise to depend only on one option.
Im sure that even if most of the countries on the planet will replace their cash money with bitcoin or different digital asset, some of countries will use their currency, in form of bank notes.

One of the scenario is a war like world war three, if that happen then it will be a chaotic situation for us because a lot of structures will be destroyed and everything can be destroyed by the powerful weapons that the different country have. If the internet is bound to die, and the developers are aware of it, then probably they will definitely find way to solve it.  They can either use other method of connecting to other people like bluetooth, intranet, etc.  This is more likely not to happen but if ever, there is a not more likely solution for this.  If bitcoin is the main currency, government will do everything to stop its demise.

May I ask in what particular aspect in the bitcoin network will these attackers will attack? I am not a technical person about these type of events so my curiosity was just triggered.

As a decentralized cryptocurrency, it only needs internet in order for it to exist. So if this internet being dead, bitcoin will obviously freeze. When the internet is restored, even in just areas, bitcoin will be up and running again right. How come that bitcoin will be weak from the first minute of startup knowing that bitcoin is decentralized and no server to be attacked?

Cash system never dies. It is the base for entire economy as well the financial functioning in a country. Now the cash system too have interlinked with the internet. So even for successful cash transactions internet is a must, so the internet gets high updation rather than going dead.

If the internet is dead then we will just back to used cash, bitcoin is a digital transaction to used it we need electricity and internet, so if the internet is down then we wont be able to used it, then we will used the old way, using cash to do transaction, there is no other way to solve this

We live in digital era, most likely will happen is an increase in internet services rather than vice versa, it is true if there is no internet we couldn't access bitcoin, but I think if the time that happens, bitcoin has created coins and paper that are regulated by government, in the future of all internet technology will be more free and more advanced than the wi-fi system.

I don't think that anyone could predict what would happen if the internet network died. But the chances of that happening is very low.
