There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I only have one PCIE x1 slot on this board, its showing up as display device on: vga, instead of generic non-pnp  monitor like the other 3.

What sort of info do you want...

Seems like your 4th card does not support OpenCL (blame drivers).  Sometimes, when adding a card, i had to do this:

  • Uninstall catalyst driver
  • Reboot in safe mode.
  • Clean remaning data with Driver sweep
  • Reboot and reinstall drivers

This will take you a good 15 mins, but if you don't have a better option i would go for it.

EDIT: Fxed the link to the latest version of Driver Sweeper.
