Any currency can lead to corruption.  The media is going to show it as a corruption currency when in fact USD is widely used in corruption all around the world because it holds it's value relatively well compared to other fiat. I wouldn't avoid BTC for that reason if that is your original thinking.

yes it can. as long as someone loves money and would accept fiat I think a small % of them could also accept bitcoin

There is a lot of way people can corrupt, and as long as it is related to money it will always happen. People these days are not new to that kind of doings, especially on the politics thay we usually know. Bribery is one of the most known things they do and with digital currencies, they can do it anonymously.

We all know that there is corruption everywhere, like in government or any other organization. Because of money, corruption can always happen with greedy people who always wants more money to them. Since bitcoin can be considered as money, can it also lead to corruption?
Bitcoin is a free currency, without the administration of any government or bank. Bitcoins are often involved in crime because of the security and privacy features of bitcoins. This has led to debate over the use of this currency. Many countries are now trying to control bitcoin to avoid corruption

Bitcoin is easy to use in buying and selling goods and services. Criminals can avoid government management. Bitcoin users are anonymous so the government can not control it. Bitcoin is not the cause of corruption. But the crime has taken advantage of bitcoin to corrupt. Governments need to control transactions to avoid corruption

Obviously anything that can influence people can lead to corruption or crime.

But that doesn't mean it should be made illegal.
Before the presence of bitcoin people use banks abroad namely Switzerland and Panama because more secure and profitable, I'm not sure the presence of bitcoin to make corruptors dare to put money because bitcoin is very volatile.

Bitcoin has no fault in corruption. Bitcoin does not cause corruption, it's just the payment method, keeping the property secure. The purpose of bitcoin is fast, safe and secure trading without the purpose of money laundering, tax evasion or corruption. Governments need to manage and control people who commit acts of corruption

In any corner of the world you will still see corruption, even in the government and especially in this crypto world. Many rich people have just hid their wealth through these systems. Most enter into this is to avoid the very high taxes they will pay in their country of origin. But there are good people who use bitcoin to earn and that income is used to spread good deeds such as fund raising programs. I`m a crypto lover and i used this for my family future.

Bitcoin is the digital currency. So, no one can do corruption in bitcoin. That's what I think.

Any currency can be bribed as corruption to make things happen in this world, likewise bitcoin may or may not be used for the same and it's up to the person who does it. Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency never entertains such thing but wrong hands and wrong brains utilize this kind of technology in their favor which is uncontrollable as of now.

It is on the hands of the people who have the money. If you have lots of miney then you have power. It is the individual's choice whether he or she will use it correctly or the other way around.

As long as there were currency, there will be always possiblities of corruption. It is because of some people who wants to use the money for themselves and doesnt want to share.Money makes people greedy and selfish once they are take over by it.

A good question. I asked it to my friends and family, but no one answered me either. I looked at the forums and wrote everything differently. My personal opinion is that bitcoin can not lead to corruption.

Definitely it can lead to corruption. Bitcoin is controlled by people and people can be corrupted. The only advantage of bitcoin is, it can be seen in Blockchain which anyone can manage to check. So corruption is in a way can be lessen.

Maybe because we can say that corruption is normal but if ther are rules and regulation we can prevent this kind of corruption. Corruption is everywhere but corruption is not there if our leaders are disciplined person.

I believe Bitcoin can also lead to corruption especially when someone is greedy enough to hold all bitcoins in the world. Corruption in which a person doesnt want to sell the bitcoin and be distributed equally. However, because it is very hard to earn bitcoin and hardly a person can have 2-3 bitcoin, it is unlikely to happen. Also no one has the ability to control bitcoin.

this question we have to answer with our instincts as bitcoin users, corruption is discussed? whether bitcoin can cause corruption. for me bitcoin can not be used for corruption, but all can happen to bitcoin. it all depends on the users because the technology is present certainly the pros and cons.

Corrupted people will always have remedies. I think some reasons why some government keep on banning cryptocurrency to reduce corruption. Because "crocodiles" are using crypto to hide thier monies instead of bank. Using bitcoin to hide your money is not transparent, they cannot distinguish where they get that money and how they get that money much.

Yes it can but there are more easy ways for big money payments for corruptions. Tax heaven places like Man Island where all businessmen, politicians and celebrities have their anonym accounts with millions and billions of dollars on them

So what is it your pointing out? You said Bitcoin cannot be used to corruption then you contradict it with "but all can happen to bitcoin". It seems you don't have a solid stand on the matter being discussed. Also, you said that it depends to the user if he/she will use Bitcoin to do corruptive things, and using Bitcoin as a tool for it, also it is a factor in the corruption, thus we can say that it can lead to corruption
