I dont think bitcoin can lead to corruption, it depends on the person who use it. But we need to understand that bitcoin is a currency that most higher position get use of there power to do what he/she wants with bitcoin

Yes, it would be if it used by the corrupt. People especially those who are hungry to have loys of money will use biycoin especially now that it has a big value. But i think its better to use the "scam" rather than corruption.

Absolutely yes. Look at the real world, many of the people around on us are looking for something that will give them a lot of money. Since many of people are corrupting some of the money of other people, in this internet currency (Bitcoin) is also possible. Some of them are scammers, posting phising links, etc. These activities are illegal activities but they're doing it because they wanted to have a lots of money. Corruption is occurs in a lot of ways and it is not always about the money. Bitcoin is also vulnerable for the corruption and since it is untraceable so it is very possible for the bad people to just use it as a way of payment for their illegal activities to steal some money from the people and that is called corruption and that is why there is still a lot of people are not comfortable with bitcoin because of that 'anonymity'. It does happen because the bitcoin is not the reason for the corruption and it can happen anywhere the more bitcoin you will save the more your greed will increase to earn the money but you will have to control yourself and to use the bitcoin in the constructive and the fair way, if a lot of the people will buy the bitcoin they will help you more but this is not the time to lose the temper and the patience at all. |

Corruption by greedy people but not by government, yes. It is evident because there are many investment sites that promises high profit, high return of invested btc in just a short period of time. It is like 10% interest on your btc everyday. That percentage is really big that is why many will invest. After awhile or just before a month, it will turn out to be a scam. That's another thing I guess, HYIP has already created a bad reputation and investors are not really investing it hoping for a long term success but they just want to gamble with the short term and hoping they can get their ROI with a little profit and just leave the HYIP. Maybe when bitcoin was still new there are a lot of victims with this kind of scams but people are much wiser now. I agree to that. People right now are smarter than before and that is why HYIPs cannot fool the people to invest their money into that. HYIPs are just part of the history and their customers or possible victims are getting lower in amount because people choose the other source of income rather than the HYIPs that is just pure scam and just being designed to steal people's money. HYIP replaced by ICOs  . You can see there are many ponzi ICO projects like HYIP. Pumped at first time and dump to low price or dump below the ICO at first time are the form of new scam type. |

We cannot remove, replace or disregard a corruption specially in government because corruption is always there and always included in any administration so that its simple its possible that bitcoin can have any corruption because bitcoin os one of the money that we know and you can earn a big amount so that its possible to have a corruption here in bitcoin. |

If we talk about a possible tightening of corruption and Bitcoin in tandem, then I want to say One word. If there is a problem with corruption in the country, Bitcoin is given an opportunity. With impunity, pay off or keep acquired by illegal means. No more action from Bitcoin. It can not be. And when there is no corruption, Bitcoin will also be clean. So you must first fight corruption, not with the crypto currency.

Bitcoin has alot of tendency to bring about corruption. Transactions via bitcoin are largely untraceable and lots of people can use bitcoin for money laundering and other illegal activities. Authorities lacks the requisite know how to investigate transactions using Bitcoin. Monies laundered through Bitcoin are difficult to trace and hence it aids and abet corruption unless there is some checks and balances.

But now KYC and other things have made it a lot difficult. But other than Bitcoin, Gold diamond is also used for corruption. So my point is BTC can lead to corruption but that depends on the mind set of the people. But it doesn't necessarily lead to it.

it depends on the way you are talking about if you are saying that bitcoin can increase the corruption then it is not possible that a coin can increase the corruption.if you are asking that it can help for moving money easily then i think it is right. And one more aspect, then we all pray, and it is connected with the legalization of the crypto currency. If the crypto currency is not legalized, then all the money that corrupt officials have stolen in the country, they are transferred to Bitcoin and thus will hide them from law enforcement agencies and from people. |

I think bitcoin is not leading to the corruption, why because it is digital currency and it has very high price fluctuation any time the price will come down or else any other altcoin may replace this bitcoin in future everything is possible. That is why people don't take that much risk they prefer only gold and diamond to hold their black money. This is my opinion but nit sure. |

Yes but it is something that is common with all currencies and we shouldn't single out bitcoin for public flogging. Bad people always use currencies they feel can easily help them facilitate their crime and so they will stop at nothing if they find bitcoin convenient. |

Yes but it is something that is common with all currencies and we shouldn't single out bitcoin for public flogging. Bad people always use currencies they feel can easily help them facilitate their crime and so they will stop at nothing if they find bitcoin convenient. People should understand that so they will not view bitcoin as a tool for illegal activities, some are just afraid of using bitcoin as they do not trust it due to the wrong information they heard but once they get fully educated, things will change and they will begin to adopt bitcoin and maybe use altcoins as well. |

Everything that is money-related can lead to corruption. But it's your choice to corrupt it or not. Always remember one thing, if you take something that isn't supposed to be yours, then it's not going to do any good for you. Might cost you something as well (I believe in karma). It's true that corruption can makes us rich easier, and faster.. But well, I think getting something from our own sweat is wayyyy better.
