May in can lead to corruption becuase. Bitcoin like money is no exemption. Bitcoin can give people power, financial capability, we know bitcoin is able to trade with USD so, its have chance to used in a corruption. Sspecially in this digital currency. Positive side will make the bottom of the start to improve their financial problems.
As they said btc and really equal to money or any other object that has some value, many people in the current scenario corrupt for much less than btc. Example of this you can have in your day, in supermarket boxes where they are diverted cents, in the butcher where they deviate the price of the meat or even in a fuel station where they aduteram the product, that is, if even banal things like these corrupt a person imagine the btc that has a high value.

We all know that there is corruption everywhere, like in government or any other organization. Because of money, corruption can always happen with greedy people who always wants more money to them. Since bitcoin can be considered as money, can it also lead to corruption?
Bitcoin is indeed susceptible to corruption. With its current expensive price coupled with greedy people then we cannot do away with corruption.

Anything that has money involved is prone to corruption. If you are to look at a much bigger picture, Bitcoin is decentralized which is an advantage for those people who have bad intentions. A decentralized economy is a very much complex and every transaction are quite impossible to tract. Having that said Bitcoin could be used as a form of payment for illegal activities by any person who intended to create chaos.

What more if these Government officials got involved? Most likely they could abuse the advantages of Bitcoin that can also lead to corruption. These people can easily avoid paying higher taxes as they can convert it some of their assets to Bitcoin. Also, we can't deny the fact that some of these politicians engage in an action in which they support or finance a terrorist group to go against the Government.

I think it depends on the people of where he use bitcoin if in criminal activities or corruption. But we dont want that dirty hands in bitcoin we dont want to harm it from those people.Bitcoin is money it is involved always in every activities that can lead to criminal activities.
It will depend more on the governments of the areas than people. It will be better for the governments to legalize the crypto currencies and then legislate accordingly to not let it to use in criminal activities. If the governments will hesitate, then people of that country will definitely find some underground links to trade in crypto currencies which will definitely lead to the involvement of bad guys of the society trading in the bitcoins.

When there is a strong implementation of the law, the authorities will be able to combat illegal activities with the use of bitcoin.
That is why it's important that they will legalize bitcoin to give them access on the necessary information relevant to detecting illegal transactions.
I don’t think so that bit coin lad’s to corruption. But we can say anything about the corrupted people because it’s just a currency. It’s all up to the people how they deal with this that’s why I am saying that bit coin cant led to corruption.

But in some cases people have black money they can invest that money in bit coin so I think it could be a corruption activity. Because bit coin gave us totally privacy so nobody can check our bit violet so that’s why that black money could be save.

Bitcoin does not lead to corruption, but it provides with the ease of corruption due to the pseudo anonymity in which the transaction is transparent and can't identify the end users. As it is not much popular, political people haven't got into it much as they use fiat such as usd.

Bitcoin is already leading to corruption. Many people use bitcoin to make their black money white and expand at the same time. That's why many governments have banned it and others will do it soon as it expands. Now lets see how long it takes for this bubble to burst. Hope for the best Smiley

I think Bitcoin will not lead to corruption, it's just a tool to help covering the corruption . The greedy of human leads to the corruption not bitcoin.

Corruption is always accompanied by politicians and business. Because of the benefit, there will be corruption. It is almost impossible to be fully transparent. Block chain technology may help to eradicate corruption in some aspects. For example, if voting is applied to the centralized block chain, it will greatly restrict politicians from voting. Of course, bitcoin is likely to be used by them, because bitcoin transfers are more anonymous, and it looks simple to use bitcoin bribes.

We should understand that the emergence of corruption is not caused by the existence of money, but by the existing mode, the system and , first of all - people.
So, bitcoin is money, that's why the notion of corruption is also closely related to them.

That's the point of it. Due to the great features that bitcoin offers, it opens up a lot of opportunities for greedy people to launder their money. They can easily use bitcoin as a front since it is not that easy to be traced. The greediness of human is just another factor that amplifies their urge to use bitcoin in bad things but they should be aware that the government knows that they are using this kind of technique too.

I think bitcoin is so close to corruption because corruptors can use bitcoin as a money laundering tool. That's what I worry about because it will cause the name of bitcoin tainted by irresponsible people like koruptor. Hopefully bitcoin will keep running even though many obstacles are blocking.

It definitely can be used for corruption -- non-traceable, non-physical money. But honestly cash is already almost the same, so don't think it will increase corruption levels as it doesn't depend on tools but more or people.

I think yes! Bitcoin may lead to corruption if the dev or the bounty manager will keep the money after his or her project succeed. If he/she will not pay the members who participated or joined the said project. So, the members may think it is a scam but maybe they don't know the money is being hold by the dev.

I think it is possible that bitcoin can also lead to corruption, because corruption is everywhere not only on Government but also in business.
you cant prevent corruption in terms of money. And i think sometimes no, because some of a manager is really good and then some of company is good to people.

Corruption was always and will be, only very rapidly growing and spreading. So any thing that has at least some value can be used in corruption. And it is impossible to win.
But the affect of Bitcoin on the corruption is really clearly , they have the new way to clean their dirty money right?
Right and it is not bitcoin fault that it is being use by bad people I know bitcoin and It is not bad itself for bitcoin dark use we should try to make bitcoin legal and then no one will use bitcoin in bad way for this use we will have to manage right time and day at least government should take step for this and make bitcoin legal currency as soon as possible.

It would be more correct to say that bitcoin does not lead to corruption, but is used in it. The human greed leads to corruption, and the currency is only as a link for the implementation of a corrupt deal.

No I don’t think so bitcoin is very nice safe and sound currency and if we study bitcoin in detail so we can understand that bitcoin is peace full currency it don’t teach bad things bitcoin is here to help us that’s why everyone love and support bitcoin because bitcoin is the only currency which can change a life of any one if some believe in hard work so I hope bitcoin will find some best way to stop miss use of bitcoin because bitcoin is not here for bad things.

In my opinion is not to make corruption but can be used as a tool for money exchange and payment of corruption. that means like money laundering, because bitcoin itself does not have record in government it will be easier for corruptor to use bitcoin / altcoins as payment for corruptor. if in a transaction using fiat then the government can be very easy to transcend all recording transactions that occur, when using bitcoin the government can not track the flow of funds used by corruptors, because there is no clear regulation of digital money so the more easy to use bitcoin as a tool exchange / payment. Maybe point as above. that's my opinion

Theres a huge possibility that crypto oriented corrupt government officials are hiding their stolen moneys in cryptocurrencies specially Monero XMR. They can also use a third party Bitcoin mixing service to cut the transaction history from the blockchain.
