As far as I understood from that QGup tokens is this those will be traded only on Qtum's protocol being there only. It will be clear in few days but I do believe total supply of QGup will be low due to strict condition and creation of token based on number of claims. That will make them worth too.

This will be interesting to see indeed. Or the unclaimed ones may go into QTUM/Matchpools hands, we will see. The process for claiming the coins was a little tedious if you had to start from scratch like I did and create both wallets etc, so I bet few did it. Plus I only heard about it with a few days to spare to get it done.

GUP seems to be in run of breaking $1 anytime. This kind of attempt was seen yesterday but then there was decline and now this morning price looks very good and healthy and trendy increase. Before major announcements getting mark of $1 will bring huge benefits and impact on new investors.

It's so confusing actually. I think the Matchpool dev team hates Bitcointalk. I hardly see them make any updates here. Furthermore they are very vague on their statements.

Though there is nice increase and every single market is being pumped which simply means this time dump will not be seen. I would rather expect some dips which will lead to further increases in short interval of times in my opinion. Gup token will be used inside of the platform which will keep pressure on it s valuation to keep rising.

What you need to know about $GUP and how it can be used inside the Matchpool app:
Up until now, Matchpool has been running on the Ropsten network, one of Ethereum’s testnets. All transactions of ‘XGUP’ have been used to test how the $GUP utility tokens would be transacted before using real $GUP inside our app and moving on to the Ethereum main-network.

Starting today, ‘XGUP’ is being replaced with $GUP on the mainnet.

What can I do with $GUP?

First pump than dump happened but exactly nobody knows when qgup will spread to the people. Looks like people still keeping guppies on wallets.

Already hit 1$ at bittrex. 2 weeks ago it was hanging around 20cents 5x in less than 2 weeks. Great improvement.
I sold mine at around 70 cents. and i was expecting dump will continue but it start to rise again today.
