If you like the ability to actually be able to withdraw funds and think support at https://btc-e.com/ would be decent enough to reply to emails, you're best off trading elsewhere.

I've been registered there for years and recently the exchange has gone to shit

I'll be honest, I'm not sure. Maybe others know, but if you intend keeping your coins I'd be wary of leaving any on the exchange @ https://btc-e.com/

But it is missing BTC-e's killer app, the trollbox.

At least for me, I trade pretty frequently on BTC-e and have never had delays or problems.  YMMV though of course.

What's with this FUD.  I use btc-e and it's been working fine.  Maybe you need to verify the payouts with an email.  And I use vircurex too.  But vircurex has way less market liquidity.  You can save a lot by using btc-e.

Just wait until MtGox supports them.
You can buy them from me for $10 each then  Cheesy
On a serious note, had ZERO problems with BTC-E so far

I have never had problems and did a $30kUSD bank wire out of there a couple of weeks back no problem.

However there have been so many people posting about hacks or withdrawals being denied that it makes me wary.

I think part of it stems from Terracoin hardforking and people unwittingly traded coins that weren't real which led to btc-e freezing accounts. And there have been some bruteforced accounts it seems. Anything else that people know of?

I would recommend if you have to do trades on there, get your coins off the site straight afterwards lol.

I assure you it's not FUD. I challenge anyone to email support there and see how long it takes them to reply (If they reply).

Even then the reply will be one short sentence that probably doesn't help anyway

I can't find (on Vircurex) an option to send BTC to another BTC address.

Once you've generated a deposit address on Vircurex, that seems to be your deposit address for life.

I use Vircurex and love it, but I prefer having a separate address for each transaction.

My exchange, RBCex, trades LTC, BTC, BTE, TRC, BQC, and FC; each time you send funds I issue you a unique address to send to; there are no transaction fees.

I have not had a lot of problems with BTC-E.  But I haven't been registered there very long.  I much prefer Vircurex.

Withdrew BTC without a hitch.

Think the problem is that their support is non-existent. So if you encounter a hitch you are screwed.
