I really wonder this. I never clicked a signature ad and am wondering if it works for gambling sites. I need to be enlightened in this topic, because it looks like a waste of money to me.
I think so? I mean why would all the gambling websites would go for signature campaign if it didn’t work at all. Couple of them would try it, it wouldn’t work so they would stop it. It is not only a chance to gain new players but also a way to keep reminding people of yourself.

Why do you think Coca-Cola has ads on TV ? So, you can buy Cola? If you are their consumer you will buy it anyway. No it is to remind you, it is to make you want to buy again.

Exactly. Even if you have an already well known gambling site, like Coca-Cola among drinks, you still have to remind people of its existence or otherwise they'll forget it. It's not necessary a Sig campaign, it might be something else, like constant promos, contests etc. But if you do nothing in that regard you'll be forgotten sooner than you think.

That's a good way of expressing it. Indeed big companies still do advertising and it does still drive sales because they keep on reminding people that they should buy the product. Like for cocacola, they want people to be reminded that it's delicious especially when it is super cold. Which causes their audience to really thirst for it.

I think creating a signature campaign in this site is not wasting of time and money, because theres so many audience in this site. And promoting or advertisement is a good idea to attract audience. like the first time Im here in bitcointalk im very curious in signature thats why itried toclick and click it so many times.

Especially when you have a gambling site and people are always wanting to leave gambling. Everyone has lost in gambling one or the other time and they will want to leave the addiction or just formal gambling with the money. But if everyone stops gambling then how sites will survive. So Signature campaigns and social media campaigns are to remember everyone that gambling sites are still alive and adding new features.

I agree on what you have said and that would definitely happen if you don't pay attention on your site it would be forgotten by people that's why its important on constantly make promotions or gigs to make people will remain put interest on your site.Signature campaigns are just an introductory or exposure on your site notifying the public of its existence.

A lot of people out there spend a huge amount of money just to advertise their products and they do it regularly. So, even though for us advertisement, signature campaign in this case, looks like a waste of money but I am sure signature campaign gives a significant impact to gambling sites.

Yeah, and the good thing about advertising here is that people use bitcoins and they get to encourage them to use it in whatever site signature campaigns are advertising, be it gambling, services, ICOs and other like services that get advertised on signature campaigns.

Aside from the obvious answers already given here like that it's valuable for either brand recognition and direct clicks.
I'd argue that it might also have an effect on their general seo by getting them a lot of back links.

Now, they're probably not all that valuable to be honest, but I reckon it does have some effect.

And people do click them and join from time to time. I've gotten 35 referrals for Crypto-Games with 1 of them depositing over 1 BTC.

the more advertisers the more gamblers awareness i also thinks that in a small way signature campaign do attract players to visit the site
as they become curious regarding to the campaign and start finding the game house, so its still a win win situations for the owners.

Why just gambling services? if you think having 20-50 people wearing your signature in a forum with millions of visits weekly then you're dead wrong.
Ask yobit or a different service such as bitmixer, they're the 2 services paying thousands of dollars weekly because they know how important exposure is, many people think just having a few members wearing a signature would do the job, but that's not it.

You need to be every where all the time in every thread and every board constantly being seen and those paying(sharing their revenue with their participants) 50% of their income to people wearing their signature are the ones successful around here.

They have learned the market and they respect it's rules, advertising is more than 60% of your business and 30% of that 60% is competing against your competitors not only in offering the best products with cheapest prices but offering the best support.

For me? when I want to select any service I go with the one which has the most advertisers in the entire forum.

Indeed signature campaigns are a great way to promote any site specially when it's related to bitcoins or altcoins.

Like what most people said here it definitely works but when it becomes a long term advertisement  it's not worth it anymore unless the casino is generating huge profits. Also I think this is one of the most efficient way of advertising here in bitcointalk.

It is just not about people clicking the links in your signature. It's more like a bitcoin gambling culture where most of the popular gambling sites need to keep themselves always ahead of the game.Signatures play a vital role.People don't actually click it but they can read and they know there is such site called crypto-games.net which is running since a long time.

i remember when i come bitcointalk.
as i more interested in bitcoin gambling.

i will see the signature when i see any post.
It not make me click on that but it will let me know which site are active.
It will increase impression on my mind.

Then i will do my own research on the website.
So it is useful . Grin

Yes it does help, otherwise people wouldn't be running signature campaigns as it would just be a huge waste of advertising. Signature ads are similar to other ads, and obviously not everyone will click. Most people won't. However, those that do probably convert to a betting customer quite often, making the site a profit.

I managed a signature/twitter campaign for BTCDragon Casino, and the owner was very happy with the result.

I tbink that is a good question. Signature Campaigns are the most popular type of earning bitcoin here in the forum, most forum members abuse it, never thinking what type of site they campaigns. Most people click these advertisement to look or examine such site, if they found out that these site is legit, or very useful to them, they will be signing it. Advertisements don't really work out sometimes, but Signature Campaign does.

Why a doubt, it's perfectly working for gambling websites. Most of the first time users of the site were through the promotion that's been done through the signature campaign in our forum. Later on only it get more users through word of mouth and continue growing.

Believe me, they are working just fine, even better than some people might expect.

You don't need to click every signature. It is enough that you see them, that way you'll learn name of the service sig is promoting.
From my experience I can tell you: I discussed many times new or interesting service I found via signatures.
I learned about many casinos, promotions, ICO project or services that way. The mere fact that they are around is enough.
