Its because bitcoin have lots of features that's why it is more used by many and I think theres none yet who can get over in bitcoin , though there are lot of alternatives now that been used ,some campaign it uses and will just convert it on bitcoin.

I agree, it is just that bitcoin need some improvement at the moment. Maybe transaction fees are increasing yet I cant see people transferring their funds there, that is not enough reason to do this move.

I have been seeing Bitcoins' price rising with a stability in its growth, but due to the higher mining fee that is being levied on transactions these days, big businesses are now moving their funds towards alts and taking advantage with their least fees as well as shaping a completely new economy in the trends of altcoin markets. Do you think this may harm Bitcoin's dignity and open up a chance in real for alts to rise?
Chances of alts to rise is there but you don't have to worry about it as most of us are making bitcoin as our main crypto. And the whole market is centered for using bitcoin. What big businesses you are saying that move their bitcoins for alts? Most of the businesses will always remain with bitcoin they don't want to take the risk. I agree with you , bitcoin is still the center of all in crypto industry, I guess those OP you better elaborate more who are those " big businesses" transferred their funds into alts, I guess they will not take the risk of putting their money into something not stable as bitcoin I mean being trusted by everyone.

This is pretty normal for bitcoin or any kind of currency or cryptocurrency in the world because if there is a lot of users and also a lot of new users coming in the bitcoin world then there is no need for us to be surprise by this kind of growth in terms of increasing the fees because miners and bitcoin needs it to maintain its network and to give profits to the miners so they will not transfer to another coin.

Why no chance? Your statements are crossing each other. One way you say that they have been existing since long time, and if they have no chance, then for what reason are these alts existing? I know Bitcoin is number one and wish it remains the same all the time, but as we can't predict future, so is the same in case of Bitcoin vs alts.

Altcoins will get pumped but there sure is a limit. All the present altcoins don't have the lightning network that we need so all the present altcoins doesn't have a chance against bitcoins. I'm thinking, though, if a coin with a lightning network would really kill bitcoins because bitcoins can surely adopt the technology unless the coin developer didn't release a clue on how they did it or the bitcoin technology isn't compatible with this new technology.
I'm thinking that if someone ever released a coin with a lightning network, all the other coins will just copy the same thing and the competition will be gone once again. Bitcoin will still prevail if that happens.

Their are so many altcoins whose network has lightning speed but even then they are not success, the main reason of the success of bitcoin is it is not controlled by any one but altcoin are controlled by the developer and when ever they want they can change or do anything to coin. This is the main reason of the altcoin not getting success

Hard to speculate about future. We all can see that bitcoin right now is not exactly the best payment option or a currency. BTC is better suited to be an safe haven asset, capital investment and long term option for hoarders. Bitcoin is not doomed yet (Japan adoption!), there is still time to fix scaling problem and reach total dominance over altcoins. But if the scaling war will continue for extended period of time, it is possible that ETH, LTC or DASH will take over BTC dominance.
Exactly, it is very hard to predict what is going to happen in next 10 year in the cryptocurrency world. I think that LTC lately has grown up, showing it's potential thanks to the possible SegWit implementation. But as can be observed, ETH has also a big chance to take a lot of the market ( and already has, after bitcoin ). I also believe that Monero may have opportunity to build-up, thanks to the anonymousness of this altcoin. After all, there is a possibility of totally new altcoin growing up, and taking big part of the market. But all of that is just speculation about future, it is only my opinion.

I would say that there is a chance. Look at altcoins such as Ethereum and Dash. The number of users are increasing, and also several online shops accepting these coins are getting established.

Bitcoins I think have no competition among the alternate crypto currencies. It is kind of a very one sided competition as no other alt currency is as famous as bitcoins. More over bitcoins are known to most of the people but they may not recognize the alt currencies like ETH etc. So I don't think alternate crypto currencies have any chances against bitcoins to rise. But no one knows what the future holds.

They have a chance to become next to bitcoin but the reality that they can replace bitcoin, I don't think that is going to happen. We know on how big is the market cap of bitcoin and is getting bigger each day. Before it is going to happen, those alts needed to make their market cap expand and become higher as bitcoin.

And bitcoin already have passed the stage when it was weaker to get the strength and it is now a stronger currency and the strength came to this currency because of its use on online shops and on online services especially on gambling world it has got a much priority.

There is a chance, altcoins are easy to devwlop than bitcoin because bitcoin has many users, many dont accept some projects to develop it, while on the other hand, altcoins has less user making it easy to organize. The thing about bitcoin is it's price which is really high, making it top of the digital curency. As you can see with Ethereum they experienced a hard fork, after that their user increases and now is a popular altcoin.

At this point, I'd definitely say diversify your cryptocurrency holdings and keep your fingers crossed. Bitcoin may stay on top, but that's not guaranteed and the current network congestion plus all this infighting over Bitcoin Core, SegWit and the latest thing that Roger Ver said is definitely not helping.
I really just don't think this is true in the least, I think that the reason for the issues here along with scaling issues is that theres a lot of money to be potentially lost by miners due to changing the scaling solution as it would block out some miners advantage in their ASIC's (looking at you here Jihan, you sly fuck) This wouldn't be happening in an altcoin because altcoins don't have the same amount of people using them with day to day transcations like bitcoin does, so it's pretty unreal to think that an altcoin could ever take over Bitcoins place in the Crypto world. TRUST BITCOIN, NO ALTCOIN CAN DO WHAT IT EVER DID There is a lot of money to be made in the altcoin world, and some altcoins are really, really interesting projects, but overall bitcoin remains the king of crypto. If you had to choose in what coin you would be paid, you would choose BTC and most would. It's yet to be seen if any coin can take this number one spot. Slowly it's becoming like gold of crypto, the network effect is too strong.

Yes. There are alt coins which have a chance against Bitcoin. For me Ethereum and Litecoin has a big chance specially Ethereum because it has been hacked before but it still grew stronger. Its value had increase a lot.
