Recently, Bitcoin has been placed as the precious stone where all other altcoins are being pegged to. The rise in Bitcoin affects the rise in altcoins and the drop in Bitcoin affects the drop in altcoin.

Based on the transaction fee, Most people are seeing Ethereum as a means transaction

Hard to speculate about future. We all can see that bitcoin right now is not exactly the best payment option or a currency.
BTC is better suited to be an safe haven asset, capital investment and long term option for hoarders.
Bitcoin is not doomed yet (Japan adoption!), there is still time to fix scaling problem and reach total dominance over altcoins.
But if the scaling war will continue for extended period of time, it is possible that ETH, LTC or DASH will take over BTC dominance.

yes I agree with you. no one knows the future of bitcoin we can only predict. if the bitcoin transfer fee remains expensive and the time is too long. then the possibility of bitcoin position can be replaced altcoin. I think eth will replace bitcoin. hopefully the bitcoin progammer improves the transaction system so bitcoin remains the main coin in cryptocurrency.

Indeed, bitcoin likewise begin from zero with no ubiquity and ready to make due as of not long ago in light of the fact that there are client that utilized it for exchange, when the client feel bitcoin isn't valuable any longer they will dump bitcoin and search for another coin, we can see couple of weeks back when bitcoin value tumble down, a ton of alt coin cost go up, this demonstrate there are a great deal client purchasing alt coin for venture, so there is a plausibility for alt coin supplanting bitcoin, yet it isn't that simple

I see Bitcoin as the mother of al the altcoins. If you like at the price chart, you will always see that the altcoins are reflecting on Bitcoin. So when the bitcoin price goes down the altcoins will follow.

Well i dont see that altcoins has a chance to beat bitcoin, even that it has a lot of altcoins in the market i dont think it has a chances against bitcoin, Bitcoin price is to high and the popularity of bitcoin is also high compare to altcoins and bitcoin is the strongest cryptocurrency so altcoins has no chances.

Until whenever there will not be Altcoin who will be able to fight Bitcoin, Although there are some Altcoin who have a chance to have a high price, but still Bitcoin will be the king. Remember, Bitcoin is the first digital money currency to emerge, and Bitcoin has been the mother of all emerging new digital currencies. this means, Bitcoin will not be opposed, there will be no Altcoin able to answer Bitcoin. Bitcoin will remain the King of Digital Currency in the World.

A lot of alts seems to be doing well now that bitcoin is going back up but I don't think that will last as a lot of altcoins actually have no use and no good projects behind them which means a lot of these altcoins will actually fail in the long term but altcoins can never take over bitcoins no matter how far they go because bitcoin will always go farther regardless.

There are plenty of alts that have great potential and are great for what they were designed for but it will be a long time before something revolutionizes as Bitcoin did.

Yes of course. Bitcoin has some problems as a transaction coin and there are other coins which may rise due to less issues around scalability and fees. once  there is more need for a transaction coin in the world wide population we could see a more user friendly coin rise up. atm btc is more of a exchange/ trading coin.

many, after bitcoin there are several other digital currencies that start emerging and rival bitcoin, such as Ethereum and ripple. With the dominance of bitcoins at record lows, and different cryptoes seeing a huge price jump, it is inconceivable that both Ethereum and ripple can claim the top spot in terms of immediate market cap.

In the future encryption market, the share of bitcoin will be reduced, the share of altcoin will become bigger and bigger, which is an inevitable result of a mature market, because as the community develops, there will be more and more altcoin, some in their respective fields, and some specialized coins will occupy some markets.

Now there is probably no chance but the story of the future, no one can predict, although bitcoin is having an overwhelming reputation and possessing a strong support community but it is not perfect, it still has problems and does not please the fans. And because of that, altcoin will still have a chance in the future when altcoin exploits and improves the issues that bitcoin is facing, some evidence that altcoin is generated based on bitcoin is very much, it outperforms bitcoin in some issues as the cost is low and the time to complete the transaction is very fast

I have been seeing Bitcoins' price rising with a stability in its growth, but due to the higher mining fee that is being levied on transactions these days, big businesses are now moving their funds towards alts and taking advantage with their least fees as well as shaping a completely new economy in the trends of altcoin markets. Do you think this may harm Bitcoin's dignity and open up a chance in real for alts to rise?
For me theres a possibility that bitcoin will be overtaken by other altcoins. Theres always a possibility for everything.
Also theres a lot of good and promising altcoins out there that still finding its momentum to take into limelight.
But as for the time being and even in the near future, i cant see something that can overtake bitcoin.
Most altcoins also depended its value to bitcoin, so when the value of bitcoin drops its exchange also drops.
So as of now the best and still the king of crypto is bitcoin.

I think the possibility is quite low but we can also consider the thought that in a high volatile market there is always a possibility that a certain investment will fall with in a short period of time. Some altcoins do have potential specially those who have a huge market.

Why not? You have to remember a lot of people still do not know exact the concept of cryptocurrency and the blockchain tecnhlogy. Why the government do not use Bitcoin for primary payment or as an internation currency? Because they know Bitcoin can not do that, Bitcoin is only an asset for speculation, it can not be better than this role.

I do not see any alts that will fight with bitcoin right away because bitcoin is the main reason why there is altcoin and if there is going to fight with bitcoin it probably will no longer live it will scam soon as what is done tbc. There is no exchange and continue to deceive people to continue this junk coin.

If you see Ethereum then you can compare developments with bitcoin, even though ethereum is currently in second position but I am sure that someday bitcoin and ethereum marketcap will continue to thin out.

The main goal of an altcoin is to be a better option to a specific gap that BTC can't properly handle. When we focus only at the price tag, I believe that no altcoin will have BTC's. But if we think about new features, several altcoins have something to add to the game.
Actually bitcoin was the first most currency created, after after that some other altcoin created, in fact they try their best to remove such flaws which we experienced in bitcoin, but still i think that in current time they cannot compete with bitcoin, because still most of the people are investing money in bitcoin and still they are taking interest in bitcoin which is making bitcoin as more stronger as compare to other crypto currencies.

it does not seem that any of them do because what we have seem is that if bitcoins price reduces so does the price for these altcoins, and also when bitcoins price rises so does the alt-coin prices , suggesting that their growth and demand is directly proportional to the growth and pricing of bitcoins.
