Which of these two exchange services do you use and why?
Do you trust one over the other or is it a support or service thing that one is better than the other, have you tried both?
And how many of you use both services just to spread your funds across?

I will choose Poloniex over Bittrex anytime, for multiple reasons actually, I prefer the GUI they have and the black theme they use, I also like the fact that they use cold storage to hold most of their funds so If a hack occurs, there will be no real damages. If we come to compare the trading volumes then Polo have at least x10 of what Bittrex have, not to mention diversity, where Polo have more coins to trade.

I prefer Poloniex.  It's very good at listing legit cryptos even if they're ones that get pumped and dumped often.  It also has a much larger trading volume which is better, and I rely on Bittrex a lot less (especially since they're not allowing fiat withdrawals for their Bitcoin/fiat exchange, which makes me think they're having serious trouble and something might go wrong).

Poloniex looks better as well but I can't say that that matters too much to actual trading.  It's just quite pleasant.

In recent times poloniex has become so selective on listing new altcoins. If I remember correctly, for all new ethereum based tokens I need to go for either bittrex or liqui exchange. There were times poloniex offered free coins. In recent times I have noticed their withdrawal takes little bit delay compared to earlier days (probably high volume of withdraw requests a reason).

I am using more 5 exchanges, just based on availability of one particular altcoin I will be using an exchange. Also I have habit of choosing exchange for getting better prices when same coin trades in gap.

To be very honest, don't trust any of the exchanges wit the amount you can't afford to lose.I know this topic isn't about that but regardless of the exchanges, you shouldn't be storing coins in your wallets online.
In terms of service discussion,I'd choose Bittrex anyday.

Both exchanges is having good reputation of course these exchanges are trusted. But if I have to choose, I will suggest Poloniex for the best one because of the smooth design, mobile friendly (even if bittrex site mobile friendly too), and the best thing is they have lending service where you can provide loans for traders and get profit return (and you can get a loans to trade from someone there)

Poloniex, somehow I feel safer with an exchange that requires id verification. Most of the alternative coins on poloniex are also the ones that actually have other uses other than being pumped and dumped.

Polo still being the number one, Because according to my experience and I were having a bad history for use bittrex trading exchange which it has a really bad trading chart. Too long for the bittrex trading chart to gets an update about the recent price of the market.
They're all in the competition to grab more traders to play on their platform. The major is more superior than minor.

On bittrex theres a lot of alternative coins there. On polo just a few coins but limited shit coins on there. If you would compare bittrex has lots of shitcoins so better resesrch first before using bittrex.

If i will pick, i choose poloniex for the best exchanger, because poloniex have the highest volume in every altcoin that listed in his exchange and also your account is fully secured for it. Well sometimes i'm using bittrex just to buy an altcoin that is not listed in poloniex like PIVX that pump high

I used both and I like trading in Poloniex more. They have better volume and a better list of cryptocurrencies. Bittrex is good but theres too many scamcoins listed and the volume is not as good.

Poloniex has become the no.1 altcoin exchange after all these years.

I use Bittrex because I'm holding coins that are not listed on Poloniex yet. (Nexus)
Both are great exchanges and surely some of the most popular, Polo has a better UI & trollbox.

Poloniex outperforms every other altcoin exchange competitor. It offers a great variety of options for traders, exchange support is fantastic, enough volume and liquidity available, and the list goes on.

Bittrex is just an okay exchange if you put it up against Poloniex. I wouldn't have to wait a single second in order to know which exchange I will choose. You can't compare a Toyota car with a Ferrari, it's that simple.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

I use both of them, because some tokens are listed on Bittrex only, and some are on Polo only. as everyone know it is easier to list any coin on Bittrex than listing it on Polo, in addition, Bittrex has good potential alts like Time, ARK, Waves.....

I will choose both, at the same time poloniex become the best exchanges because of their very highest volume and their popularity, also the others altcoin that listed in polo are not obvoiusly dead/scamcoin. Anyways i like too bittrex since 5 months even if they are not popular

OP you should've added a poll
Bittrex is a reliable exchange with decent support, and I was using it a lot in the past for daily trading, but I prefer Poloniex for two simple reasons.
First of all, it has bigger volume and secondly (this is the most important for me) somehow I feel that my money is safer in Polo than any other exchange.

I don't trust Bittrex because they accept bribes to list coins (like cryptsy and mintpal).

A lot of Bittrex coins ended up worthless and have been delisted.

Poloniex has a better interface and I trust the team behind the website more than Bittrex.

To this day I did not use in a very intensive manner their support service (I guess I had a message on each of them).
But without any hesitation, I would elect Poloniex as the best of the best :
- Because it has a trollbox, and though it can lead you to have a misinterpretation of the general feeling, you can have an instant access to instant answers from a very active staff. And you are free to not listening the trolls, you get banned quickly anyway.
- Because it has a much greater volume, which guarantees that your orders will get filled much faster.
- Because it offers P2P loans.
- Because it offers simple yet damn useful analysis tools of your trades.

However Bittrex still has some nice advantages too, such as much more trading tools or more important some very important crypto-currencies missing on Poloniex (Waves as for exemple).

So even though both have advantages over the other one, Poloniex is still the best mainly for its volume.
