Did anyone pick up the Sapphire 6990 from NewEgg today? I got an email alert from nowinstock.net - and they emailed me the instant the item was posted. I've signed up for email alerts on NewEgg and *never* seem to get emails from them. The item was limited to 10 per customer, and I was able to add 10 to my cart - so they must have received a decent sized shipment.

I ended up ordering (2) 6990's with 3 day shipping. Smiley

So - who else had a good day?  Grin

If I had $1400 to spend on computer parts, I'd be having a great day. But I'm not. Thanks for ruining my day.  Angry

Just go with crossfire for gaming. Two overclocked 6950's > stock 6990. Two new 6950's would also cost less than one 6990.

why is this news? 6990 are sold everywhere for $700+.    maybe if it was 5870 for $200 then it's worth a new thread...

I started this thread because NewEgg had them in stock - the first time in almost a month, if not more.
