Yep,

considering we do not have a developer at the moment.... Crzybilly is the closest thing we have to a coder who knows what he's doing.

I trust you, I only do investments, I do not have time to make mining...

Same, I only invest...I don't mine either.  I was very passive and thought the previous dev was going to update the coin, but all he wanted to was scam.

So I am only doing what I can...I don't know much programming but something had to be done.

Okay Crzybilly,

Do you have an estimated time when you'll complete the commits for 0.13?

Oh yea i forgot to ask as well....who's all mining the coin?

cause that's the most important part....we need the miners to update to 0.13 when this happens...is this correct? or can you still mine even with the old wallet?

how does it work?

I have forked the source on github, so here is the new link https://github.com/kkemp102294/c-bit, so any updates can be made to the source.  If Crzybilly wants to make an official fork of the source I will get rid of my fork.

I am mining the coin and working on getting a pool setup for the community.
I don't think it is critically important that everyone updates to 0.13 as this should not create a chain fork, or at least it didn't for bitcoin.

Okay, as long as it's not urgent everyone updates at the moment it's released...but I will urge everyone to update eventually.

I will give Cryptopia the updates as well.

Kemp, just keep that fork, it can be used as a backup just in case something happens to the main fork I did.

I will add this list to the front page...and i will add the node to my conf file as well.

I think you need to add a port # after the IP? it's not syncing to yours.

When I try and run the wallet (Windows 64 bit) I get this error.

http://prntscr.com/ey9i68

I tried adding nodes but it still gives me the same error. I had the old chain on this system but I deleted it. Had the error before and after deleting the appdata folder created by the old wallet.

Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

What do I need to set up a master node?

Alright!

Finally 2 active connections to C-bit network instead of 1 now....

what I did was

1) open up c-bit wallet
2) click "help"
3) Debug Menu
4) Console
5) Type into command:  addnode "24.257.103.100" "add"
6) Press Enter
7) Wait for to sync.

Hope this helps

I find that you cannot run both bitcoin and cbit on the same system...since its the same code.

If you have bitcoin installed on that computer, it didn't work when I tried running both.

Try uninstalling bitcoin (not recommended lul - takes forever downloading that bootstrap.dat)

I think masternodes are just more mining pools...I don't know how to set one up.

"Website" needs to be updated on coinmarketcap along with Message board. Not sure if you have the ability to open up a forum or want to, tramese. There seems to be some demand already Cheesy

Read up on Masternodes. Bitcoin does not have Masternodes. I'm not sure if it is possible for us to add Masternodes to C-bit, or if we should. It would be an interesting alternative to Bitcoin, though. Would be a better question for a developer.

I've hit the giant verified commit of 0.12.1, this commit will take some time to go through as it is 3000 changes and 100 deletions.
